Great location, service and comfort

Pros: Beautiful location in historic town. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast

Pros: We stayed at this hotel in Monnickendam, a small but lovely town just outside Amsterdam. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, and we really appreciated the free drinks (water, juice, and cola) left in the mini-fridge. Having a kettle and coffee maker in the room was a great. Be aware of the location for travel: The hotel is not in Amsterdam. To get here, you cannot use a standard Amsterdam central ticket. You must buy the 'Amsterdam and Region Travel Ticket'. A single trip cost us €5.46 each way, so buying the regional pass is much more economical. We got a 3-day pass from the Hello Tickets website for €32, which I highly recommend. Also, don't miss the chance to visit Volendam! It's just two stops away from the hotel with public transport and is a beautiful place to explore

Cons: Just a small downside: there's no laundry room available at the hotel or in the immediate area. It made things a little difficult since we were staying for three days.

Pros: Balance between price and quality. Cosy, Nice looking, well equipped (free mini bar). Location with view on the canal. Their restaurant close by was excellent as well and personnel smiling and efficient. I strongly recommend.

Very comfortable, plush, central, quiet room.

Pros: Gorgeous central location, easy to find and easy to check in at the restaurant opposite. We were given a free welcome beer at the bar, and there was complimentary juice and chocolate in the mini fridge. Compact but very plush, comfy room. And there were free tickets to climb the clock tower opposite but we did not have time to use them.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located in the city center, everything was clean and tidy, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended!

Pros: 10/10, the location was just superb! Such beautiful, unique town! The clock tower you get used too, adds a charm whilst staying in the hotel. The room is tidy & shower was huge! Very generous hosts, wishing them the best of luck!

Cons: Breakfast not included 14€ per person to expensive, no morning food available arround

Good for a short stay in northern Holland

Pros: They give you welcome drinks at the restaurant they own, the room has everything you need, very clean, huge shower.

Cons: The lights in the room are very dim, even during the day it’s very hard to see.
