The hotel’s restaurant is situated nearby the fish market on the Volendammer harbour with a magnificent view over the sea. Here you can watch fishing boats leaving and arriving all through the day, and follow the activities on the market. This à la carte restaurant has existed for more than 100 years and is famous for its excellent fish dishes. the rooms are accessible only via stairs, there is no elevator. Free parking is possible in the Slobbeland recreation area, Paid parking at the Volendam center parking garage.

Very pretty place, quite busy but lovely people.

Pros: It overlooked the sea as described room was’nt very big but fine. Good breakfast too much for two.

Cons: There was no parking at the hotel, small Dutch streets around so no parking there. Found car park a walk away. Restaurant under the room so noisy till late.

Pros: Fantastic view from bedroom window over harbour, sunset and sunrise! Staff in restaurant great and meals were excellent. Really enjoyed our one night visit. Got ferry to Marken on route back to Amsterdam with our bikes.

Cons: The area is a little noisy in the evening as near lots of restaurants and bars. But we had a great time.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Volendam, with the best view on the sea and Marken

Pros: The room was cozy, the bed very comfortable, and the view from the room was super nice on the sea. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly and available.

Fantastic!

Pros: Location was amazing right on the harbour front. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was wonderful. Beds were very comfy and shower perfect. One reviewer had said that it was noisy and there was a bar around the corner that we could hear a bit of music from with the windows open but it didn't disrupt our sleep and it was closed by 12. Very peaceful stay. Really loved our stay.
