Modest perfection.

Pros: Everybody's dream of a Dutch hotel. Beautiful town, canal views, excellent food and drinks. Amusing curtious staff. Everyone happy to speak English. Great fellow travelers.

Cons: Sod all.

Comfortable family run Hotel in a fantastic location

Pros: An interesting Hotel with a superb location. The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and we enjoyed our stay very much indeed

Pros: The location is fabulous and the setting is just picture perfect. The staff and management are next level really, all so professional, so friendly and always ready to help. Room was great, beds comfortable and we had a good nights sleep, no noise, ensuite bathroom adequate.

Picturesque inn in a beautiful village

Pros: A lovely inn in a beautiful spot; very helpful owner who explained how and where to park, showed us to our room, provided a fan for the overpowering heat, and advised us to book early for dinner. Lovely terrace for dinner and drinks, a peaceful night's sleep, a stroll around the interesting village, a wonderful start to our travels through the Netherlands.

Cons: Breakfast was chaotic - used tables were not cleared and reset for later guests resulting in us having to find a clean table outside and then procure our own tableware. The staff on duty appeared uninterested in our predicament.

Fabulous boutique hotel with first class restaurant.

Pros: Utterly charming small hotel based in traditional buildings adjacent the canal. The food is absolutely first class. The outside dining area is magical on a warm summer’s day. The restaurant alone is worth visiting for high end dishes beautifully cooked and presented.
