Charming hotel in beautiful Edam.

Pros: Amazing and unique hotel in the Heart of beautiful Edam. The staff were welcoming and attentive. I would highly recommended this hotel.

Pros: Convenient location right in the middle of the old town. Great interior design, amazing actually, bedroom small but comfy, (there are larger rooms at higher cost) bathroom well appointed. Staff helpful and courteous. Dinner was amazing apart from the squid starter which was too chewy, we pointed it out and would have expected it off the bill but not a major issue, anyhow, the surf and turf, salmon and chicken sate were great. Breakfast severed at the table and a reasonable choice but not given any options. Very helpful when looking for a parking space.

Cons: I think they should have more experienced restaurant staff to be honest, the people there are keen but for example the comment above could have been handled better and if there was any choice of breakfast we didn’t know.

Pros: Great beds, great bathtub, very friendly staff, and well stocked bathroom with enough to take a hot bath in the evening and a shower in the morning. Combined with a great breakfast.

Cons: When the restaurant closes there is no reception so you need to take a detour through a maze. And the room was cold the entire evening, nearly impossible to get to the right temperature, but when i woke up i was nearly being boiled.

Pros: Cosy bedroom, great breakfast, excellent staff, great dining options (try the grande entree with fish starter outstanding!)

Cons: No dislikes but designated parking would be helpful

Pros: I always stay in L’Auberge Damhotel when I am visiting family in the Netherlands . Lovely ambiance , cozy rooms and delicious food . Only 20 minutes on the bus to Amsterdam

Pros: The location and the good of the restaurant. Staff is really nice and helpful.

Pros: If you like a quiet stays in small towns with genuine character and a hotel superb old world service and cuisine you can’t find better anywhere.

Good location and friendly staff

Pros: Room had good climate control and the lighting was good. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Nice restaurant downstairs with good ambience.

Cons: Size of the TV was small and the room was a bit small.

A nice old place in a nice spot.

Pros: Position, History and Character - really liked the Hotel and the staff. On the whole, we had a great stay.

Cons: Be prepared for the hotel to be busy with either functions or non guests - this does push the staff in their ability to serve. This was reflected in a pretty ordinary breakfast experience one morning during our stay.
