Friendly, well located hotel

Pros: Location was good - near the station and not dar from the centre. Decent room with good shower.

Cons: Bed was not very comfortable.

Delightful stay

Pros: Conveniently located near to Leiden Centraal. Comfy beds and nicely sized and nicely decorated room. Friendly and helpful reception.

Cons: The nearest supermarket was quite a walk away - unless we consider the Albert Hejin to go at the train station.

Just perfect base to explore Leiden and other cities. Hotel had all amenities and a lot of friendly advice.

Pros: Great location right by the station so easy to get to other locations in the Netherlands.

Perfect Location!

Pros: Couldn't fault anything. Staff were lovely, walking distance to train station. Leiden itself was perfect for a stroll around. Room was immaculate with comfortable beds and very spacious.

Pros: The Hotel was able to conform to all our needs: early check in, double bed and an extra crib for the baby. The room was spacious and clean. Although the building looks dated from the outside, the rooms have been modernized.

Cons: The building was warm, we needed to run the airco non stop.

Comfortable stay

Pros: Hotel is close to the central station and one can easily plan trips for nearby locations such as The Hague, Utrect, Delft. Leiden is not big so location is also good for exploring the town. Good soundproofing and comfortable beds. Daily supplies of complimentary coffee and tea. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, so I can't comment on that. Reception desk staff seems to be either still practicing, or not very skilled. One staff member tried to charge me 10 euros more for late check-out, and one was particulary rude - rolled eyes and made faces because I didn't want to handle her my card for payment and I demanded the card reader. Not to mention that impatient look and hand gestures \

Cons: It would be nice to have some doors on the shower, to prevent from watering the whole bathroom. There are only one towel rack and one hook for towels, which is probably sufficient for solo or business travellers, but not for holiday makers.
