Boutique Hotel Huys van Leyden is an intimate boutique hotel set in the historic centre of Leiden, right next to the Oude Singel canal. This heritage-listed property dating from 1611 includes many original features and offers its own (limited) private parking. Boutique Hotel Huys van Leyden offers hotel rooms as well as several apartments. All the rooms are unique in layout and furnishings. Beautiful House to stay and enjoy the center of Leiden.

Pros: Unique location, very central. The staff is great. The decoration in the hotel is historical and very original and all modern details are ‘in style’. Breakfast is very good. The best about this hotel is the location. Everything is within walking distance. We also loved to be able to reserve our own parking spot in a private parking. We felt pampered and privileged staying at this beautiful house.

Cons: For a 4 day stay the room is a bit small. Though the space is optimally used. We would suggest more than 2 hangers for 2 persons. Also, since the hotel suggests cleaning on request, it would help to provide some means for the guest to dry the shower and swipe the wash basin.

Pros: We really loved our spacious, cozy room at the top of the very well tended house. A comfortable bed and the beautiful furnishing made our stay very pleasant. The staff was so very kind and welcoming. Since we came by car, we were lucky to get a space in the garage. This is a great place to stay and get to know Leiden's sights.

Warm welcome, nice location and secure bike parking.

Pros: Good breakfast. Nice welcome, not rushed which was nice as we arrived by bike.

Lovely property, nice view over the canal, super staff.

Pros: Peaceful canal setting, lovely room, good breakfast & super staff. Bonnie on reception was especially friendly and helpful & arranged to get a bag of washing done for us. We have been travelling for 7 weeks through Europe & this was the nicest hotel we have stopped in, pity our stay wasn't longer.

Cons: Could have had better lighting in the bedroom.

A wonderful, welcoming and cosy place to feel like you're home away from home.

Pros: Such an amazing hotel on all accounts. The staff made sure all was in place in spite of a very late night check in. Thanks to their kindness and attention to details, they made this short stay very special. I look forward to returning to Leiden and staying at the Boutique Hotel Huys van Leyden for longer.

Lovely spot on the canal and great to explore Leiden.

Pros: Great position on a canal. Lovely building, friendly helpful staff. Nice spot to have drinks outside from the hotel bar. Comfortable.

Cons: Thought the furnisher and furnishings in the bedroom were a bit cheap/basic for the style of the hotel. And it was expensive for that quality.
