Live life like the Dutch!

Pros: A lovely experience staying in an old canal house which had been very tastefully decorated. It was warm, cosy and comfortable. It was a real snapshot of Dutch life and we could have spent all day just watching the cyclists go past. It’s a bit further to the ferry than I had imagined - the walk seems longer after a big day of sightseeing so would recommend hiring bikes for your stay. We caught a lot of Ubers which did add up. Highly recommend the Indonesian takeaway near the ferry too!

Cons: The host provides a washing service which is useful, but not as convenient as having a machine in your apartment. But that is just a minor thing.

Lovely sunny apartment in a quiet neighbour hood. Easy commute into old Amsterdam.

Pros: Lovely sunny apartment in a quiet neighbour hood. The apartment is lovely and has everything you could need. The garden view was very pretty. The apartment is lovely and has everything you could need. Much better deal and much bigger than any hotel in Amsterdam. A 25 minute walk along the canal to the free ferry to cross to old Amsterdam was easy (recommend ferry then Uber late at night -lots of nearby Ubers). There is a shower over the bath as well as a walk in shower. WOULD STAY AGAIN!

Cons: There are very steep stairs (with a railing) to enter the upstairs apartment -which was a struggle with a large suitcases but manageable (with many giggles). Would not recommend for people with disabilities or have trouble with steep stairs. The nearby cafes were pretty average for breakfast. Some bedroom windows have no curtains or blinds -but mornings were dark so not a problem.

Beautiful accommodation in a gorgeous city

Pros: The setting is just gorgeous and the house has absolutely everything you need. Superb experience. We were sad to leave.

Excellent appartement très calme.

Pros: Superbe emplacement calme et près (2km) des endroits “trendy” d’Amsterdam-Noord si vous avez un vélo. René est très accessible. Endroit sécure pour barrer nos vélos.

Cons: Les rideaux ne sont pas assez opaques, donc il fait clair très tôt dans les chambres en été. Il n’y avait pas de laveuse à linge dans l’appartement alors que le site Booking com indiquait qu’il y en avait un. Par contre René nous a offert de faire notre lessive gratuitement! Très bon service.

Genial apartamento

Pros: René es un excelente anfitrión. El apartamento es precioso y se siente acogedor. La zona es super tranquila y está genial conectada con el centro de la ciudad.

Jederzeit wieder genau dorthin!

Pros: Es gab Kaffeemaschine und Kaffee, daneben Kekse, im Kühlschrank standen kalte Getränke bereit. Alles war sauber und schön dekoriert. Der Balkon war perfekt, um morgens in der frühen Sonne einen Kaffee zu genießen. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Und die Betten waren prima, sehr erholsamer Schlaf. Vielen Dank an Rene und Ellen!

Pros: La ubicacion es perfecta. Los Anfitriones y su familia son los mejores, siempre ayudando en todos los detalles. El apartamento es divino, super confortable, y silencioso. El balcon de atras es excepcional. La vista al parque y la cercania con este, hacen del apartamento un lugar perfecto para cualquier estadia en Amsterdam.

Pros: Die Lage im Norden der Stadt ist angenehm ruhig. Fußläufig ins Zentrum durch Grünanlagen und am Kanal etwa 45 Minuten. Die Betten sind angenehm fest und groß. Sehr schöner Blick in den Garten von Apartment und der Terrasse. Großes Bad, Toilette separat.

Cons: War alles gut. Nur etwas hellhörig, aber nicht störend.
