was perfect, lovely staff, cozy room, perfect location

Pros: Room was a little tired but more than serviceable. The Rembrantplein hotel is run by an exceptionally nice family. Can’t fault the location or amenities; especially for the price!

Pros: Small but comfortable. The hotel is at a great location, beds are comfy, hallways and rooms are clean. Luggage drop at arrival and check out worked out well. Definitely great value for money considering the location.

Cons: While everything is nice and well cleaned, The mold situation in the bathroom should be addressed, it is unfortunately not a cleanliness issue anymore. The bathroom just smells of it and there is visible black mold all around the bathroom and unbearable humidity inside, which the loud ventilation does not seem to help at all. It is lucky that it does not linger out to the room. Therefore staying 3 days, while it was not pleasant we did not really bother but it seems to be a serious issue. Additionally it is true, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from other rooms. This was not an issue for us, but if you are bothered by noises, this will not be a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel very clean

Pros: The staff were great, the hotel was very clean and in a good location.

Cons: The en-suite wasn't the best shower very small and sink ontop of toilet making it difficult to use the toilet. Had a tv in the room but it didn't work.

Pros: The location is brilliant, in a side canal away from the crowds, in a 17th century 4 story typical Amsterdam house. The staff were friendly and helpful even offering to help with my heavy bag up and down the 4 stories of very narrow stairs.

Cons: Only small comment was the towells were very small, but a very small aspect in an otherwise lovely place

Pros: Rembrandtplein Hotel and all the staff were absolutely wonderful! The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance to everywhere, yet as soon as you enter the quiet canal street where it is situated, you immediately feel peace, calmness, and safety. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. Our room had a beautiful canal view, and waking up to that was amazing! Looking forward to staying again.

Good value for money

Pros: Comfortable bed with new mattress, clean bed sheets and towels. It was more quiet than expected in the morning, day and nigtht, had a good rest in a single room on the 4th floor. Small but good for 1 or 2 nights. Good value for money considering the location in the center. It was clean and newly renovated. Not perfect but much better than expected from older reviews.

Cons: For the shower there should be something available to sweep the floor to make the water go to the drain faster because otherwise the floor stays wet for a longer time and when I need to wash my hands or use the mirror, then I have to lean in from the side to avoid my feet getting wet, inconvenient. Also would be good to have a 2nd hook on the wall in the bathroom to hang the 2nd towel. A floor mat would be good to have to stand on after the shower, not just 2 towels but 1 more for the feet. But still, the bath was ok for the price, these are just some suggestions what to improve.

Pros: Great location and helpful staff. Easy late check in.
