Nice hotel in a great location with friendly helpful staff

Pros: Great location Friendly staff and very helpful with directions and ideas, free water

Cons: Need to dust the wardrobes as dusty for putting in clothes and top of wardrobe very dusty where we put suitcases to save space. Pillows a bit lumpy.

Cons: The street outside was quite noisy at night, for anyone with a canal facing view. Nothing exceptionally loud though

Pros: Location is top tier. Chat to the reception - Rick was 12/10!

Cons: The bathroom was small but then, it’s Amsterdam. It was pretty big compared to other places!

Pros: The location was closed to most places. It could be better but almost all areas in Amsterdam are in a 20 min walk. Most shops, bars and restaurants were within a 10 min walk.

Cons: The bed mattress was too soft.

Pros: Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable Great location - easy access to tourist attractions

Cons: Noise in the hotel - but staff dealt with swiftly

Safe, clean, comfortable

Pros: One man at the reception (never caught his name) was really lovely and so welcoming. He gave really good recommendations and was so considerate. Rooms were clean and had lots of light. Sockets near the bed were really handy. Felt really safe as well as they have someone at the desk 24/7. Perfect location, 20 min walk from Amsterdam Central and close to amenities such as tram stops and a spar. Luggage storage is available and monitored by cameras so felt comfortable leaving my bags there.

Cons: I stayed in room 7 and it was up a lot of stairs without access by a lift. Not a problem for me but maybe for someone with mobility issues or who’s tall. Maybe this should be explained fully when booking. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

overall it is worth the choice

Pros: the location was great the building was so beautiful and the smell was perfect

Cons: the room wasn't spacious and it was difficult to move around
