Great base for a long weekend of exploring

Pros: A large room with a great canal view in a great location.

Cons: The double bed is of course two single beds put together, which I expected. However, the mattresses feel like they’re due for replacement as they are so soft at the edges.

Awkward leaning building, Amsterdam original.

Pros: Hotel Amstelzicht is probably the most crooked building in Amsterdam, and I say that in the cutest way possible. It is literaly leaning on it's neighbhoring structures. It is a part of the Amsterdam culture, located in a great place near the city center, just a few minutes walk from all the main shopping roads and of course the Dam Square.

Cons: I'd prefer a double bed, but that's just nitpicking. If you have any issues with leaning buidlings, this would definitely fall into to your \

Pros: Great location, room was spacious --we were in the family room which was in the basement , nice kitchenette as well, friendly staff. Authentic canal home

Cons: Despite being a nice spacious room , we were all turned off by the fact we could not flush ANY toilet paper and had to put it in a garbage can in the bathroom for the entire stay due to being in the basement level.

Pros: The view was stunning from our room, with incredible cheap price. Overall we had a great stay! Will definitely come back.

Cons: The property is a little small than I thought and the stairs were really scary since they r all tiny. But I’ve been to others hotels and seemed like all of the houses in Ams are that tiny.

Pros: The location is perfect you are almost citycenter with a tram station behind the hotel 5 mins walk and 10 mins to the central station where you can go everywhere else

Cons: The star is so steep to use it up or down especially with luggages and a baby if you have. But they offered to keep the stroller downstairs and we don't have to take it up with us everytime.

Amazing hotel

Pros: Room very spacious, very clean, amazing view. Didnt realise we were staying in a tourist attraction (one of the dancing houses/ slanted houses) until we had a tour on a boat and they advised :)

Cons: Very steep stairs but they are traditional stairs so cant do anything about that :)
