Comfy, cosy and impeccably well located.

Pros: Great location, quiet and in a beautiful neighbourhood; just outside the chaos of the centre. Rooms are quiet and comfy, despite the single room being very small. Staff are a delight, always happy to help. Superb value overall.

Pros: The personal and family approach. Availability any time, super friendly staff and great location. Close to all the attractions but not in the middle of the caos

Cons: No such a thing, we are definitely coming back and staying there

Pros: Besides the lovely hotel and staff we really appreciated location. Location was excellent, we walked from the hotel to the centre and to all the main attractions. Public transport from the airport to the hotel was easy. Rembrandt's square is close by foot and we would spend our evenings there, lots of caffees and restaurants. Our room was clean, we had coffee maker which was lovely bonus. Hope to visit this beautiful place again 🤗

Overall excellent value for money stay

Pros: Very nice hotel and good price for Amsterdam. Great location - 250m from a metro that connects with Central Station in 10 mins. Peaceful and good facilities, comfortable bed, hot shower, nice staff.

Cons: The room was a bit on the small side, though was advertised as a 'small single room'. The bathroom was a bit cold until the shower went on, as no heater within it. No breakfast, which was a shame - but there is a supermarket and cafes nearby.

Excellent stay at Hotel Asterisk

Pros: We stayed at Hotel Asterisk during our Europe trip and it was one of our best hotel experiences The hotel is very clean and quiet, which makes it perfect to relax after visiting the busy center of Amsterdam during the day I really recommend staying here instead of in the city center: you can easily go there for all the visits and come back to enjoy the calm at night. The staff were very kind and even offered me a small symbolic gift, which made the stay even more special

Pros: Great customer service. Came on my birthday and got a room upgrade, no asks. All the attractions we were able to walk to and too many food places to choose from.

Friendly staff and good location

Pros: Staff were very friendly, good location close to canals and metro. Room nice and clean.

Cons: October 2025: There was a very loud building site directly outside my window (in the courtyard). Luckily I stayed on a Friday night and they weren't working on Saturday....but they were very loud when I first arrived and it would be good to inform guests in advance.
