It reminded me... WHY I FELL IN LOVE WITH AMSTERDAM & THE DUTCH PEOPLE

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice upgrade to a bigger double room, serviced very well when we requested. Didn't breakfast in-house because there was a Lidl 5 mins away. Taxi service to Schiphol (at whatever hour) VERY GOOD. Pretty quiet considering we were to the front and next to the main road over the Amstel. BRILLIANT location for easy access to EVERYWHERE in the city. Great to be in one of my favourite areas in Amsterdam, De Pijp. A wonderfully cosmopolitan area where you meet real Amsterdammers; FULL of shops, cafes, the famous Albert Cuyp market, Sarphati Park, supermarkets and bars, all charging non tourist prices. Just FANTASTIC...

Cons: Nothing really, we would CERTAINLY use this hotel again and certainly happy to RECOMMEND to others.

Pros: Staff were so friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the little details like the pink curtains.

Cons: Only 1 English breakfast tea bag each day and no milk but it's a minor thing.

Pleasant stay in a nice neighbourhood of Amsterdam.

Pros: The hotel was well located near the area where I wanted to be, with nice cafes around. The room was small but warm and cozy with view to a canal.

Cons: The pillows were very hard, I could not sleep on them. I have stayed at the Ibis in Delft and it was much better, I expected something similar. Complementary coffee and tea was offered at the reception but only in plastic cups. In other Ibis, proper mugs are offered.

Easy, clean and safe.

Pros: Great location, within 5 minute walk of multiple tram stops. Leas than 1 minute walk from a supermarket. Could walk back from the city in about 35 mins. Spacious and clean room. Felt very safe, key card needed to access the hotel. Lovely staff. Perfect for a few nights stay.
