Pros: From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. The location is absolutely fantastic and made the whole stay even better.

Pros: Large quiet room at the back overlooking the garden. Delicious breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and bacon.

Cons: The bedroom was a bit tired but clean and it needed more lamps to great ambient light around the room. There was just one small dim bedside lamp and a large overhead light. It needed something between these two extremes to be both functional and atmospheric.

Decent, value for money.

Pros: We got 1 double room and one single room. The single room was very spacious for one person comparing to other hotel rooms in Amsterdam. The double room got upgraded to the garden house and it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were nice and chill. If you do not mind the 20 minute walk to the centre, the neighbourhood is fantastic, not so touristy and you get the local vibe.

Cons: The rooms need some renovation but it is nothing serious, I kind of liked the old school vibe.

Pros: Perfect central located close to tram and metro. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

Cons: Tiny bathroom, but it worked. I suggest different pillows on the bed. The two options provided were way too thick.
