Heavens Hotel

Pros: Location of the hotel is really good, design of the hotel is outstanding. Staying a hotel like this is a kind of experience. Rooms are both clean and comfortable. Wifi is high speed.

Pros: It is great position for the city. The car park is 10 mins walk but very cheap. Beds were comfortable. Great they have made use of an old church. Breakfast was good. If you like quirky this hotel is for you.

Cons: We didn't like not having a window to open and not having a door on the shower. Because it was so open with the big glass panel onto the corridor and everyone could see in had to keep curtains shut.

Astonishing and Unique Hotel

Pros: Absolutely BEAUTIFUL and exceptional Hotel, a renovated church with unique set up for the bedrooms, with very modern and creative decoration everywhere; a very good breakfast and the dinner at the restaurant The Saint was worth 1 Michelin Star: delicious and VERY creative. Staff is very friendly and always checking if everything is ok.

Stylish & welcoming stay in Hoorn

Pros: Great stay in Hoorn! The hotel is beautifully designed, everything was spotless, the bed was comfy and the staff helpful.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful reception staff upon arrival and departure. Lovely building tastefully converted into a hotel. Breakfast pancakes on Sunday.

Cons: Room very dark but cosy. Fortunately I prefer this. No fresh air but air conditioning worked well and room was a good temperature.

A gem in Hoorn

Pros: Reception and breakfast staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are all different and can be more or less dark. Great ambience! The breakfast buffet was good and you can order a few additional warm items (pancakes, waffles...) made fresh included in the price.

Cons: Staff of the bar was slow and not polite, really a shame for such a special location.

Great concept, gorgeous interior

Pros: Great hotel and concept, we really liked our deluxe room! The bed was comfortable, the room was gorgeous and the shower was amazing. The bar served good cocktails, we didn‘t have breakfast in the hotel. There are a lot of things to explore in Hoorn, the restaurants are very cute and served delicious food. Communication with the staff was also very good. Highly recommend.

Cons: Everything was good, but i highly recommend booking at least a deluxe room so you can have more privacy. The regular room were like an „aquarium“ and people who walked through the hallway could see in your room. Even though there are huge curtains, you can sometimes see inside a room if you let a small gap open.

Great experience!

Pros: The hotel has an excellent location, right in the heart of the city. Everything is within walking distance, including restaurants, the harbor, and the train station. There's also a parking garage about a 10-minute walk away. The building itself is beautiful, featuring stunning church-style windows. The restaurant downstairs offers a good range of breakfast options to suit all budgets. Our room was very comfortable, with a king-size bed, and the shower was excellent.

Cons: The lighting in the room was quite poor, especially in the center of the bedroom, and it made using the mirror difficult. Although the shower itself was beautifully decorated and worked very well, it was a walk-in design without proper water containment, which caused the bath mat to get completely soaked after every use.
