A very well kept hotel with lovely staff.

Pros: The staff were so helpful. The lady that had set up the breakfast (which was lovely) was very kind and understood my need to stay a little longer after check out due to a race I had participated in.

I would gladly come back.

Pros: I was coming from Germany and was stuck in a traffic jam, which meant I wasn't going to arrive on time. The hotel arranged everything so that I could move into my room even late. It was the first hotel I have been to that had a place to hang a bathrobe or similar in the bathroom (often not even 4 star hotels offer this). Windows had fly screens, very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and sufficient at a fair price.

A tranquil place on a very special piece of land

Pros: A really nice hotel, if you are exploring a country and want to learn how the people created the land for themselves. The hotel building was one of the very first structures on a new acquired land. Not far away from Amsterdam, so we used the location for a night stay, while visiting the capital. Driving on a dam towards Amsterdam is also a very special experience

Cons: The area is rather remote from city life, with positive sides and disadvantages of this. There is a nice fish restaurant in the marine nearby, though somewhat pricy. Equipment and sanitary utilities are somewhat on the simple side and not exactly the most modern. But all functions well.
