Pros: The location is fantastic — having a small lake right in front of your bedroom is truly special. It's such a peaceful place; you can barely hear the motorway, which makes it even more relaxing. This was my second time staying there, and definitely not the last! Although I didn’t try the breakfast, I did have lunch and dinner at the restaurant this time, and everything was excellent. The menu is small, but every dish was delicious, well portioned, and fairly priced. The room was also great. Some have been recently renovated, which is nice. My only suggestion would be to add a glass door to the shower — without it, the water tends to get all over the bathroom floor, which could be a bit risky, especially for older guests. Free parking is a great plus.

Comfort, style, nature and relax: the perfect stay in Flevoland!
Pros: We stayed in the water lodge with a balcony. The room was very nice, large, bright, clean with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. The air conditioning was perfectly working and we appreciated nice touches like complimentary water bottles, shower gel and shampoo. The balcony is a lovely extra too as it looks over a pond and part of a woodland area which connects to many cycling trails. This was the main reason why we booked here, as we wanted to cycle around Flevoland to see the wonderful tulip fields. So, for us, this solution was absolutely perfect! The restaurant was utterly pleasant, with friendly and welcoming staff and good food. We loved the deco of the place, especially the tables and chairs.
Cons: To be honest, for us it was perfect as it ticked all the boxes and met all our needs. We would definitely stay here again, if we had the same intention of visiting the region and surrounding areas via bike or car, however, if you rely on different means of transport, this might not be the best option. In regard to the room itself, if I had to point out something that, I think, could be improved, it would be: there are no USB ports to charge your phone/laptop (so you need to make sure you bring one as well as an adaptor if you are coming from the UK, for example) - you can though buy one at the gift shop in the restaurant; secondly, the night lamps are stylistically cute and match the other hole vibe, however not very practical if you want to read in bed, as they don’t adjust their position.

Cons: Accommodation a bit tired.. Decor passe and felt unloved, although everything was clean Wasn't expecting to pay an additional city tax on arrival. All my other bookings have included this upon booking!

Good value hotel not too far from Amsterdam
Pros: Although not far from a motorway, from the room we could not hear any cars but birds in the morning. Very friendly staff!
Cons: Small room, on the water and shower in the room... we would have preferred a separate bathroom.

Pros: Waking up with a view over the water and the birds, is really something great. Breakfast was good, staff was very helpful and flexible.
Cons: Room 14 did not have any wifi signal (even not on manual). When taking a shower the room steams up very quickly even with the fans on. One minor thing when there strong wind and rain, the softly rocking of the ponton/deck can be a weird feeling.

Lakeside Bliss and Quirks: A Review of My Stilted Retreat
Pros: Brace yourselves, folks, because calling this place a hotel is like calling a rubber duck the captain of a battleship. Picture this: my digs were basically a lakeside clubhouse on stilts. I had all the essentials in my snug standard double room – an air conditioner (because sweating is so last season), a shower that moonlights as a bathtub (two-in-one, the ultimate multitasker), a separate toilet (privacy is key, people!), a pint-sized kitchen with a fridge, a mini desk for my laptop, and a TV for those critical political news binges. Oh, and let's not forget the tiny terrace where I could sip my coffee and pretend I own the lake.
Cons: So, here's the hot tea on the bath situation – if you're dreaming of a long, luxurious soak, be prepared for an intermission. The boiler is like the diva of hot water generation, its power is not enough to generate such an amount of hot water at once. And about that toilet – let's just say, the lack of heating turns it into an impromptu ice skating rink in the winter. Pro tip: keep the toilet door wide open unless you fancy a chilly tushie. Now, as for the kitchen, it's there, but the room lacks an official dining zone. No worries, though – who needs to eat indoors when you can embark on a lakeside adventure? Explore, my friends! Oh, and ditch the room for the on-site restaurant – it's a real culinary sanctuary compared to my makeshift lakeside abode.

Great value, good stay
Pros: The location is nice. Even though next to a highway, you could not really hear (or see) it. The room that we were in was modern, clean and had more facilities than we expected. The staff was friendly and helpful, the view was great and we are definitely coming back next time we need to be around.
Cons: Someone had smoked cigarettes in the toilet cabin. We couldn't get the smell away.

Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Comfortable room. Superb a/c.
Pros: Stayed here for three nights to work at the Hiswa Boat Show in Lelystad. Value for money! The room is comfortable enough for a short stay. Very compact and it has everything you could need. Perfect when travelling alone. The water pressure is amazing. The split-unit a/c is superb and the flatscreen TV big. The restaurant near the cabins is tasty and fast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately consider staying here next time I need to be in that area for a couple of days.
Cons: As you are next to a pond/lake, at night the lights atract a lot of bugs and therefor also spiders. Just make sure to open and close you front door as quickly as possible, so none of them go into the room. I used repellent coils and spray just in case. Reading other reviews I expected it to be much worse. The cabins are not souns proof. Did not bother me to hear the neighbours from time to time. The hotel does provide earplugs, but didn’t need them. An absolute upgrade to the room would be a small fridge!
