Had to find a hotel because KLM had abandoned me. Hotel staff were so nice helped with any enquiry

Pros: As a result of flight disruption, there was a need to mobilise rooms in Amsterdam in general, I believe. Staff at Hotel de Zoete Inval had to work with significant increase in number of reservations and did so really well. It was an easy and pleasant experience in difficult circumstances, so well done to the staff.

Pros: We loved the design and style of the hotel. The staff were really helpful and the food was exceptional value for money. The bathroom was well presented with plenty of towel and a spare pillow was readily available within the room. The housekeeping was great.

Cons: Being a typical English person I would have liked breakfast tea and perhaps some milk in the room and a couple more coffee pods for my husband. My bedside table light was broken and to turn it on and off, it had to be plugged in and out of the wall.

The staff make this hotel and the rooms do the job.

Pros: Love this hotel the staff are so, so welcoming and nice. The showers are amazing best we’ve found on our travels and the food is good. Quirky bar and bowling area with lovely terrace for dining in addition to restaurant areas. Breakfast area is lovely also. Parking is easy and location great a quick Uber to Haarlem or a 20min walk to the station for Amsterdam or Haarlem. We did get Ubers to Amsterdam and back for total 80e for four which we thought was ok as it was stormy.

Cons: We’ve come here a few times over the last few years and the bedroom we were in this time was looking tired and in need of a refurbishment. The shower stall really needed some deep cleaning also as mildew and limescale build up were very obvious.

Pros: A hotel located outside the cities on the main highway, easy access by car to this entire area of ​​the Netherlands, convenient parking and a great hotel, a reasonable breakfast and in the evening there is a restaurant and bowling to pass the time, the minibar in the room contains drinks included in the price which made our time pleasant and the room had a jacuzzi
