Pros: Grand but cosy all the same and very close to town with so much space high ceilings and an excellent menu. I was so taken back by how kind and helpful the staff were and I will definitely be back. Also, the location is fantastic just a stone throw away from town and a really beautiful walk to get yourself right into the centre.

Beautiful hotel in lovely Haarlem

Pros: wonderful staff, breakfast was outstanding, lucky to get a table in the restaurant at short notice, absolutely beautiful food, ate there both nights of our stay. The hotel is very clean and has modern facilities and decor in a period building, central location made it perfect for shopping. As a short person who visits Holland a lot, I was delighted to find the mirrors weren't to high for me. Highly recommend.

Pros: It is a very nice hotel, close to the station and the city center. The room was spacious and warm, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Pros: Staff were amazing, breakfast superb. Bathroom was gorgeous.

Cons: Not enough storage space. Room was very smal and we will try to book earlier ti get a larger one next time!

Comfortable, classy hotel bedroom , expensive breakfast

Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. The building, bedroom and bathroom were delightful, comfortable and classy. There was a parking nearby and it was close to the centre. There was a complimentary bottle of water and a bar of chocolate and lots of teas and coffee in the room.

Cons: It's a pity that the room, that was otherwise very comfortable didn't have a television. We visited in December and it was really cold. It would have been nice to cozy up in front of a TV before sleeping. My main isue was, though the breakfast was good, the price we paid usually covers a breakfast buffet. €22 pp gets you : one croissant, one coffee, one orange juice and one very modest breakfast dish from the menu. No fill-ups, no top-ups, no extras. Disappointing as we had an equally good, but much more extensive breakfast somewhere else in Haarlem for far less than that.

Excellent historical hotel; excellent staff and a superb stay for Christmas.

Pros: Excellent, cosy room. The design of the room, as well as the whole building, compliments the historical features really well. Every member of staff, including those in the Corridor restaurant, were extremely helpful and polite. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked another night!

Cons: Surprised not to have a tv or a rail to dry the towels. But everything else was great.

Excellent

Pros: The room was excellent, super clean, quite and very very comfortable. The WiFi connection was excellent, and the bathroom very good. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. Check-in check-out very quick and smooth. The hotel is close to the Haarlem train station and 5 min walking from the city centre. Nice options for breakfast.

Cons: I was missing a table or desk in the room but that's rather minor.
