Rho Hotel

Great hotel and amazing staff.

Pros: We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, starting with the excellent service. We were welcomed by Francesco at the front desk, who made a difference from the very first minute and took our visit to the next level. He took the time to give us the best tips and suggestions for our trip, and was always attentive every time we walked in or out during his shift. ​The hotel has an unbeatable location for the price, allowing us to walk to many tourist attractions. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and with everything we needed close by. Highly recommended.

Mixed emotions

Pros: People and breakfast are absolutely amazing 👏. The condition of the room and the lack of tea and coffee facilities let the property down. If they just invest the same amount of energy in rooms deco as they are in having fantastic people it would make it 10 out of 10.

Cons: Tired rooms, no kettle, poor lighting and old style bathroom.

Weekend with friends

Pros: Location was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and staff very helpful.

The location and staff were excellent, but the poor sound insulation significantly affected our stay

Pros: The location was very convenient (about a 15-minute walk from Central Station and right at Dam Square). It was close to many restaurants and cafés. The reception staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions.

Cons: In general, the room’s sound insulation was poor. We stayed in Room 209, which was facing the street, and we could hear both noise from inside the hotel and from outside. Normally, cars do not pass through that street during the day, so I believe this mainly happened in the early morning. At that time, a municipal vehicle came by, and it was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. Every passing vehicle in the morning made a lot of noise, almost echoing through the street. There were gaps around the window frame, so the sound came straight in. Even with the window closed, both noise and cold air were noticeable. The heating worked well and we did not feel cold, but the noise was extremely disturbing. I would strongly recommend installing a second inner window for better sound insulation, as the building across the street had this.

Pros: Breakfast was good and also the location of the hotel is great. You walk out directly to the city centre and this is why I have chosen the place because of the location.

Cons: It was a bit noisy outside the window, but its the city itself so its ok. But I was not expecting much so its ok.

Pros: Location Hot water in tap comes very quickly in winter

Rooms are good, but concerns about safety

Pros: The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk from most attractions and the train station. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, very abundant and with options for all tastes, both sweet and savory.

Cons: The rooms and bathroom show their age and could use some renovation. I was on the third floor and wanted to use the stairs instead of the elevator, but I couldn’t figure out how to go down since each floor is laid out differently and there isn’t a single unified staircase system; this made me think that in case of a building evacuation during a fire alarm, there could be a big problem getting out
