My daughter said she felt like a detective in her hidden room

Pros: Absolutely loved our stay. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The bookcase room was so whimsical and fun. The location was great, so easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go, was only 15 mins on the tram to the city centre. Also so much to see and do in the area as well and we got to see parts of Amsterdam that we wouldn't if we had stayed somewhere else. The snack and bar station was great, loved that it was self service too which was great as we got in late. The 11am check out was a nice change and wasn't in a big rush to leave. Honestly such a great hotel for couples or if you love art and whimsy. Will definitely book again if we get to go on a couples trip again.

Cons: We did think that the window in the room that looks into the hotel was a one way window, but it wasn't which is fine just the curtain didn't really cover the window and it was next to the bed so just for a privacy element that was the only thing.

Pros: Staff were amazing! Rooms were great and the location was right next to the tram.

Fantastically unique, and yet still comfortable.

Pros: It is very unique and for the price it exceeded my expectations by far. Very friendly staff and the place has just a great vibe to it. Would definitely recommend. Even if it is just for one night.

Cons: The shower and basin in our room’s draining system was a bit bad, but not a catastrophe.

Great stay!

Pros: Such a fun place with themed rooms, staff were so lovely. felt safe as doors locked at night and only guests could gain access. so clean. Easy to travel in to centre by tram.

Cons: Quite noisy when the room next door went in or out and could here people walking up and down stairs.

Wonderful stay

Pros: It was an amazing experience at HNH, vibes always cool, bed was comfortable, the room was so clean ,the hotel well designed and decorated, we booked breakfast it was a buffet well prepared, the staff are super friendly and helpful they welcome us with a beautiful smiles, I definitely recommend it, and I am coming back in January

Such a fun and creative hotel concept!

Pros: My room was small with a shared bathroom, but the bed was comfortable. I noticed they also have rooms with private bathrooms, but this one was perfect for a budget stay, especially for a night or two. Next time I’ll definitely try the old tram room in the middle of the hotel! The staff was also friendly and check-in went smooth.

Cons: They were doing some renovation work during my stay, but it wasn’t very disturbing and it will probably only make the hotel even nicer :)

A cozy, artist-designed hotel with excellent staff and a perfect location.

Pros: I’ve been to their old restaurant before, but never stayed at the hotel itself. All the rooms are designed by artists and it felt like being part of a living gallery. The staff’s 10/10 service came with some great neighborhood tips about places that were new to me. It’s a really cozy and inspiring hotel with nice seats everywhere to relax. Almost like a big livingroom. The location strikes the perfect balance, close to all the nice things in West, and with the tram to the city center just around the corner.

Cons: Too bad they closed down the restaurant, because their Pad Thai was really fantastic.

Pros: Staff were very friendly, hotel was very relaxed and the decor is too cool for skool.

Cons: It is quite far from the centre.

Pros: It was a very good stay. Exceptionally friendly, helpful and nice staff. Unique, fun and cozy hotel and rooms design inside. Comfy. I loved to live in a bookshelf!

Cons: Some (only some) of the bathroom departments could be cleaner. Maybe in summer it can be stuffy in the room with nov windows, but in October was all fine.
