Pros: Tahir was a legend and very friendly - love the free tea and coffee and the great rooms - comfy beds and the balcony and jacuzzi was a total winner!

Good location

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Good location, close to many restaurants and walkable to the city center

Cons: The room was a bit small No fridge in the room It smelled like cigarettes the first day

Would definitely come again if in Amsterdam! Great staff, great value for money and the perfect small hotel!

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable and location was not too far from the city centre! We particularly loved how attentive the staff were and that there were little treats like apples, free drinks and small chocolates when we checked in

Cons: It can get a bit loud, the walls are quite thin

We spent 2 nights at Alp Hotel and we will definitely come back here in our next visit in Amsterdam.

Affordable stay near Jordaan

Pros: Really good location near to Jordaan district (10 min walk). Walking to red light district was approx 30 mins. Really liked the small touches of chocolate and apple on bed every day (good for midnight munchies). Unfortunately did not have time to try the spa bath but power shower was great. Balcony was a plus too.

Cons: Room was cold at first - had to turn radiator on. Quite a bit of noise from room above and street too.

Pros: Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, rooms very nice and clean and well sized for Amsterdam.

10/10 recommend, great place to stay with perfect location and very comfortable room with balcony

Pros: Not too many hotels still offering free coffee/tea throughout the day; and first time ever when I got a beer for free when I returned from the city🥰. Balcony for smoking was what made me pick the hotel. Bathroom renovated, and very good toiletries far better than in the 4stars hotel I had to move for work)

Cons: No elevator, and also very steep stairs, it's really difficult if you have big/heavy luggage. 30min to Dam- BUT it's a direct tram, easy ride. No restaurants nearby, but I have ordered delivery which went well.

Pros: Hotel was spotless, charming and one ill deffo use again. Tram stop right outside hotel. Staff especially Nur was every so helpful.

Pros: First of all you have to commend nice people working at this hotel, they really go out of their way to help you and get a feeling to be welcomed. You are greeted and sent away with coffee, with all help and informations you need for a nice stay. Room and whole hotel are well kept and clean. Your room comes with wide selection of instant coffee and tea, chocolates, fruit, bathroom amenities and small useful stuff like sewing kits, body lotions, reserve toothbrush or even a comb. Those small things really make the difference at overall feeling a guest can receive. Location is not in your classic city old center, but a 10-15 minutes away in area with less tourists and with more people actually living there, with good connection via trams to city center (tram lines to Rijksmuseum, Leidesplein, Centraal station, Sloterdijk station).

Cons: For my taste, but this is me speaking, pillows were a shape I didnt accustomed to, but not a big deal. King size bed would be also a better option for sleeping for me, and not two connected single beds, but again, not a deal breaker.
