Amazing staff, location and comfort!!!

Pros: Great experience!! We had loveliest stay. Ronald was so kind and accomodating. The bed was so comfortable and the hotel had everything we needed. We would 100% stay again!

Cons: Nothing - everything was great!

Good value place with excellent host in great location

Pros: The hotel is 5 mins walk from Centraal, 10 mins from Dam Square and about 30 mins from the museum area. We were in a canal facing room close to the street but it was not noisy. The room was not huge but high ceilings and good design meant it didn’t feel pokey. It was cold outside while we were there but super warm in the room which was lovely. Beds and bedding good. The host was super flexible and let us know we could check in early and kept our bags when we checked out without charge so the fact there was no formal reception desk made no difference. Excellent recommendations for places to eat.

Cons: Super selection of teas but no English Breakfast or milk (there was a fridge). Shower room is internal with no window so slightly musty smell.

A non touristy hotel in great location.

Pros: Excellent location with a view of the canal. Easy walking distance from central station and convenient for many of the sights. Comfortable bed and good tea/coffee facilities in room. Mini fridge useful if staying a couple of days. Very clean. Friendly and helpful owners.

Cons: The lighting was a bit subdued for me but the room was on the ground floor facing the street so this may be for privacy. The room was somewhat elevated from the street so, in fairness, it was more interesting than intrusive and I liked it)

Lovely stay in cozy room

Pros: The hotel is super close to the central station which was very convenient. Also, it is right next to the red light district and in general in the center of Amsterdam so we could explore everything by foot and there are many lovely restaurants nearby. The room was a bit dark, but nice and had a separate toilet and bathroom which was convenient. The bed is huge and very cozy, overall the stay was very relaxing and we didnt't encounter any issues. It was also very quiet despite the central location. The owners were also lovely and very helpful. They provided us with recommendations in the neighbourhood and we even could have an early check-in and on the day of the check-out, we could leave our luggage with them until the evening.

Cons: The windows can't be opened (only for a small crack) which was not a huge issue but would have been nice :)

Will be back again
