Hotel Restaurant Old Bridge

Pros: Had a mix up with the room a cleaner forgot to clean a room so they gave us a bigger room until the nxt day whilst our room got cleaned and didnt make us pay the 50 euros he was absolutley lovely the whole stay was lovely for 2 stars you cant ask for much but that showed me he cared about his guests so thankyou from the uk group thanks from us id definetley be back

Cons: The property was in perfect place near train station 5 min walk and view of canal was amazing it was so beautiful

Pros: This hotel was a fabulous cheap and cheerful place in a brilliant location just across from Centraal Station. Lovely staff also!

Pros: Check in was nice and easy, although it should maybe be advertised that you have to do it in the pizza shop below! Just remember to bring a €50 cash deposit with you, although you'll get this back. The location is as central as you can get, being just across the bridge from Amsterdam Centraal station. The room was basic and small, however it was clean and comfortable.

Cons: I'd advertise that check in is in the takeaway downstairs.

Ok for a stopover

Pros: The location is excellent being a short walk from Centraal Station and the tourist district. The staff were all friendly and I would consider staying again on my own.

Great location, basic room but perfect for us.

Pros: We really enjoyed the location, so easy to get to from train station and great base for exploring the city. it’s so easy to get to and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We were on the 3rd floor so this did mean a lot of stairs but you get the true Amsterdam experience this way. We overlooked the front and we enjoyed people watching from the window when we were charging up our batteries before heading out again. They also sold very good coffee! The beds were clean and comfortable.

Cons: It’s basic and the bathroom was very tiny and if you are very tall it may be a problem but for us it was fine. The toilet door didn’t shut very well but we made it work. The TV didn’t have installed any channels but again we didn’t mind as we didn’t spend much time wanting to watch much TV

For solo travellers on a budget this was an excellent choice.

Pros: Proximity to Central Station, price very ok , small hotel. Close to everything downtown. My room was not ready when I arrived but the my immediately arranged it for me so I could check in

Pros: The location is excellent, just a few mins walking from Amsterdam Central station. The hotel is close to all transport, loads of restaurants and cafes. Overall, the room was comfortable, and we got our room cleaned during our stay.

Cons: The bathroom needs another partition cause the water splashes everywhere and it makes it really slippery. Stairs are really steep, but I think that's just average in Amsterdam, but beware if you have heavy suitcases.
