Pros: It's proximity to the city centre and travel options, a comfortable stay with little to no noise interruptions. Shower and bathroom facilities were clean and functional.

Cons: The TV remote didn't work (the back was duct taped 😂). But to be honest we had enough to do during the day that we didn't need it. Be prepared to climb many flights of stairs though!

Pros: The property was in the best location - close to Amsterdam Centraal, the tram etc. Most of the attractions are within close walking distance; Prime location indeed!

Cons: Wouldn’t say disliked, but the narrow staircase of the hotel is quite scary; but we managed, and got used to it after a few days.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Old Nickel

Pros: 2 minutes walk from Centraal Station the real Heart in the Heart of Amsterdam. And a lovely bar connectrd with the Hotel.

Pros: Whas greeted by Micheal, helped me to check-in; very professional employee with knowledge about the area. Took his time to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Gave me tips on the surrounding areas. The 10percent discount on the downstairs pub is a great deal. Would stay here again! Location is great, room is nice and the ambiance of Amsterdams city center is amazing.

We really enjoyed our short visit and despite the minor blips, I would book here again.

Pros: Location was perfect, 5 minutes walk from the train station and close to everything we needed. The room was lovely and warm which was great as it was snowing outside and the bed was really comfortable.

Cons: We knew it was going to be a little noisy at night due to be being so central so we expected that. A little hard to sleep at night as there was a karaoke bar right opposite the rooms but we didn’t mind. The shower wasn’t great, no water pressure and kept going cold.
