Hotel La Belle Vue

Great staff, good room

Pros: Central location. Near tram stop. Very helpful staff.

Great hotel for very cheap prices.

Pros: The room was lovely, spacious and clean. But the staff were absolutely amazing. Such lovely people, they made our stay so welcome. One woman in particular and I can't remember her name, she told me she was a July baby. She was fantastic! We were also able to use the communal balcony for smoking which was an extra bonus that ended up being so useful for night time smokes. I'd definitely return here again, location was fantastic.

Pros: The staff was great and I liked that they had a balcony for everyone to use

Cons: I didn't like that there wasn't any rooms with a balcony available for me but what can I say it was near new years

Pros: Balcony. A joint in the morning with a coffee! Comfortable bed and location for price.

Pros: Great location close to all of the interesting places to visit. Balcony was a big bonus was lovely to sit out in the sunshine and people watch and chill of an evening 👍 room was all you needed really as a base clean and enough space to get back and sleep

Cons: The stairs 🤣but once used to them wasn’t so bad plus out for most of the days so not too many trips up and down them ,added to the character of the building anyway 👍

Nice &clean standard hotel, pleasant staff

Pros: Stayed for 2 nights, did hope we had a balcony room for smoking but there is a communal balcony right at the reception we could smoke at at any point and have chats with other travellers and the staff! Room was clean as was the private bathroom, beds were so soft just narrow but that's any double bed sleepers issue really. 10 ish minute walk from main square. Would stay again for another short stay!

Cons: Did ask for twin beds when booking a few months ago and had to get this reorganised upon our arrival however they were happy to do so! Stairs are steep and winding but that is to be expected anywhere!

Pros: Very nice room and the team at reception are super helpful.

Cons: The toilet wasn’t on the floor like most so it creaked when being used which was slightly unnerving!

Pros: The location is 10/10 for Amsterdam! Everything is walkable from this hotel, Food, coffeeshops, shopping.

Cons: They don’t joke about the staircase. It is steep, but we are a young couple so was manageable. And the bed was really really firm. (Was very clean and the heating works really well!)

Pleasant

Pros: Great location & value for money. Cleaners came in everyday, emptied the bin & put fresh bedding on.

Cons: The beds were really soft & could've used a kettle in the room.
