Nice hotel for a short stay
Pros: Very cute hotel, the staff was nice, the room was small but practical for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and large. Everything was very clean. There was a very nice pizza place 2 min walk from the hotel.
Cons: The hotel is quite noisy, impossible to sleep well. There was no window in the room and it was forbidden to eat inside. The hotel is a bit far from the ferry and the center of Amsterdam, especially when the weather was rainy and windy. The system for check-in and check out was ok but I would appreciate a physical key to access the room as while visiting my phone battery went really low so I had to shorten my visit and go back to the hotel.

Pros: It was value for the money, the room was clean and i liked the showerroom. The shower was big and spacious and also clean. I enjoyed the opportunity to order coffee downstairs any time and there was always the member of staff at all the times
Cons: The room could of been a big bigger and having two pillows per person would be good, but this is more the personal preference as I like to have many pillows.

Great place to stay, highly recommend!
Pros: So clean, comfortable and tidy, great value of money, perfect! Location is great as well - not so far from Amsterdam Cetraal railway station, there is a train to the airport.
Cons: I’d like to notice a small thing to improve: electrical voltage in a room. If you’d like to turn on the light in the back of a bad, then a phone charging from USB will take a long time, e.g. I don’t have any change in % during 30 min of charging.

Pros: Hotel was very comfortable for our short stay - Amazing coffee and matcha latte served in the bar near the entrance. Location was perfect - only few minutes walk to metro station which takes you directly to main attractions. Staff was super helpful and friendly.
Cons: The pillows could be more soft and comfortable.

Could not recommend Poppies higher for the price, hospitality, comfort and location
Pros: Had a lovely two night stay at Poppies and I couldn't recommend it more. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, check-in is easy and it's staffed 24/7 with exceptionally kind and helpful people. The cafe area was really nice to hang out in and the vegan food options were delicious and well priced. The room was clean and cozy and very well sound-proofed, the central heating was great, with a good sized bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is just a bus ride away from Centraal Station or a quick 15 bike ride, I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Good value for money, nice and quiet!
Pros: The location is great if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, clean place. Although it’s a 20mins walk from Central Station, the ferry makes getting around easy, so it isn’t a problem to get to the centre of Amsterdam. It is close to Adam'Tower, which is a must try experience.
Cons: The bed was comfortable but too soft for me.

Good for a one or two stay stays.
Pros: Small soundproof room with a comfortable bed. Good price quality. Area is quiet.
Cons: The room would be better/ more efficient use of wall space if there are hooks on the wall so one could hang up their coat etc. No eating in the room allowed, also not possible to eat your own food in the common area/ cafe. Basically no own food allowed in the entire premise.
