Quentin Zoo Hotel

Excellent stay and would highly recommend.

Pros: Staff were excellent. Rooms were spacious and modern. Comfortable beds and amenities. A 10 min walk to the town centre. Next to a zoo where we saw some flamingos from the main road. Perfect location which quiet enough and yet close to the town centre.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The breakfast was wonderful, so was the bedroom (super clean). Thank you to the staff (Cristian and the lady in the morning shift). Really nice hotel. Congrats.

Comfortable and well placed hotel.

Pros: Hotel was in a good position in a quieter part of the city with tram stops outside the hotel to Rijksmuseum

Cons: Smaller room with slightly limited clothes storage.

Nice and interesting place for a short stay (without kids).

Pros: The location is pretty good - nice, quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants and caffès and convenient tram line directly from/to the Central Station. The room was spacious enough with all the stuff needed for a short stay.

Cons: Since it is an old building, repurposed for a hotel it was quite strange how our room was like an aquarium with windows all around - to the corridor, to the common terrace and curtains hid the view out/inside. The room was facing the Main Street where trams were going all day round and the window frames were like from the 50’s and not exactly noise proof and cold proof. They should think about replacing. The small shower head was faulty and sprinkled water throughout the whole bathroom and it was too small (more like a hygienic shower) - also should be repaired. It was a little cold in the room when we arrived and the air conditioner needed a whole afternoon to make the temp comfortable.

Perfect for the short break.

Pros: Absolutely brilliant suite. Comfy and clean. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great location. 15-minute walk into the heart of the city. Nice cafes and bars nearby.

Pros: Everything was fine, great location, typical breakfasts, and the room was clean and large by city standards. Special thanks to Nazmul, who took care of us and helped us whenever we needed it. He deserves a raise for his professionalism! Thank you again, Nazmul.

Very enjoyable stay.

Pros: Location was ideal. 20 min walk from the centre of Amsterdam, but still quiet.

Pros: We particularly like the charming feel of the building and characteristic rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room temperate. We visited in January and despite the original ceiling-to-floor windows the room was surprisingly warm! So much so we had to turn the thermostat down.

Cons: Our only complaints were the lack of options to store clothing and personal items in the room. Additionally, we felt like the room needed something where guests can sit at and enjoy a coffee etc., because we had to use a bed as a seating area when in the room.

Hard to beat

Pros: The staff. The location. The price. The facilities. The stroopwaffels in the reception. I’ve stayed in Amsterdam many times and I would come back to this hotel for sure.

Cons: The bed was slightly uncomfortable.
