Great place to stay, would use again

Pros: Great location, just slightly out of the main tourist area, but in a fabulous local neighbourhood with great restaurants nearby

Nice and affordable

Pros: My whole stay at Huygens Place overall was very nice. Friendly staff and it felt safe as well as very close to the city centre with public transports and other shops even just by walking. As a female solo traveler going to Amsterdam for the first time, I'd definitely come here again.

Cons: The walls are pretty thin so you can hear pretty much what the people next door are doing or saying especially if they are loud.

Pros: Perfect location for walking to Leidseplein and exploring the city with lots of trams nearby. Great bed, very comfortable room, lovely shower and surprisingly good coffee machine

Cons: We had a morning with no hot water but it was resolved by the afternoon and the staff were lovely about it

Pros: The staff at the reception were absolutely amazing and incredibly kind, especially Mave. He went above and beyond to help us with everything and truly made our stay unforgettable. The accommodation itself is a true gem, located in a beautiful area. We loved every moment and would definitely come back!
