All in all it was a pleasant stay and the staff members who were all very friendly and helpful

Pros: The location from Station was great as travelling alone had 2 bags to manoeuvre on my own. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The bed was incredibly soft and even though it was a double bed i felt like i was going to fall off it on the side, but perhaps i am just used to a soft bed. There was construction across the road which started banging at 7am so it was an early start to what was going to be a very long day as was only due to fly 16hrs at 9.45pm that night, so was hoping to sleep in a bit. Price for 1 night of R2,600 was high opposed to SA standards and what you would get for the same price in SA - but that could also be as our conversion rate is so high.

Pros: The location is perfect for when arriving by train and all major attractions are within 30 mins walking distance. Breakfast is buffet self-service with plenty of choice and plenty to eat. The room was simple but clean and comfortable.

Quirky, friendly base camp.

Pros: Everything you need as a comfortable base to explore Amsterdam. Really friendly staff, great facilities and a good breakfast. Comfy beds and clean . Love the train theme, so much to look at.

Cons: If im being picky then typical Amsterdam stairs are very steep but the lift is fast and quiet. The walls are a bit thin so can hear neighbouring rooms if they are laughing or dancing about but was never a problem early or late on.. so I really am just being picky!

Pros: The hotel is right in front of the train station and walking distance to many of the attractions. The room was clean and easy to access. It has a small fridge and dishes.

Cons: The room is a bit small but manageable.

Pros: -they were able to give as a room earlier than checkin time -hotel location is very convenient, near to the train station & centre of amsterdam -aesthetic of the hotel is nice, love the vintage train design -breakfast is all good with free hot drinks 24hrs -staff are polite & all welcoming -high water pressure on the shower

Cons: -room space is a bit small -AC in our room is not working -no curtain that separates the shower area and toilet, it gets really wet everywhere after you took a bath

A very enjoyable stay

Pros: Was a lovely little hotel that is close to everything. The staff were very friendly. Also having free facilities downstairs to use whenever was great especially when waiting for your train or flight.
