Hotel Sint Nicolaas

Pros: Fantastic location, hotel staff really helpful and friendly. Complimentary drinks and snacks. I booked the birthday package and the cake was delicious! We were on the fourth floor but the hotel has an elevator which is a life saver! Our room was cosy and the bed super comfy. The bath was amazing too!!

Pros: The property wasclean, the staff was accommodating, and the location was conveniently close to the train station.

Pros: Great location, really comfy beds, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The free drinks and snacks throughout the day really added to the stay. The breakfast was great as well.

Cons: Heating was temperamental and draft from window

Pros: Excellent location, fantastic staff, beautiful rooms, complimentary refreshments at all times. This hotel is the perfect base for couples and families. My second time here and we will definitely be back again.

Cons: My only grumble is that room doors don’t shut very easily so you must remember to really pull them shut.

Pros: Good location, nice view of the city, clean and spacious room, comfy bed, good soundproofing considering the busy street with trams and cars passing in front of the hotel. Elevator and fridge in the room also a plus. Overall a good experience.

Cons: Breakfast is basic, some staff were not very polite, toilet seat was too high, i am 1.80 and could not put my feet flat on the floor when sitting(room No 3), heating is done with air condition and could not be precisely controlled, on maximum setting it was a bit colder than i would like.

Celebrating in style

Pros: Very central and easy accessible to the city, beds were as comfy and free drinks is a nice touch.

Pros: The nicest staff. Especially on arrival the lady at reception sat and showed me all the best places to visit. Beds were super comfy and location was amazing

Pros: I was a little dubious of all of the great reviews for the hotel. However, I can fully confirm that the 5 star reviews are well deserved. The location is less than ten minutes from Amsterdam Centraal station and minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel was clean and well kept and the staff were extremely welcoming. The room was a decent size with a very comfortable bed. We've been coming to Amsterdam for a number of years and I will be booking Hotel Sint Nicolaas for our return visit. Highly recommended. Oh and the complimentary beers, wine and soft drink was very well received.
