NH Amersfoort

Great, highly reccomended between the station and town.

Pros: The room was impressively spacious with plenty of storage to actually unpack and settle in, plus a couple of comfortable chairs that made it feel more like a proper retreat than just somewhere to sleep. A great view added to the sense of space, and the bathroom came with a full-size bath, which is always a welcome bonus. The staff were brilliant too, genuinely friendly and helpful throughout without ever feeling over the top. The location is the standout. Hard to fault it. Everything you'd want to see or do felt within easy reach, and arriving or leaving couldn't have been more straightforward. It's the kind of spot that makes the whole trip feel effortless. Cons: Breakfast was decent enough, though the spread was on the modest side and a little more variety and replenishment wouldn't have gone amiss. That said, if you've spent any time in the Netherlands, you'll know this is fairly par for the course. Don't expect a lavish buffet, but it does the job.

Pros: NH hotels are always very good I have found. I have used NH in Amersfoort for some 11 years and have never been disappointed. The NH is located an easy and safe 4-minute walk from the station, and it's a 6-minute walk into the city centre. Amersfoort is a delight and worth spending time to get to know. Lots of beautiful walks and a nice city park are all within walking distance from the hotel. The staff are helpful, very professional, and everything I have come to expect from the NH group. Rooms are clean, a good size, excellent bathrooms with really deep baths! Breakfast is good if you are ok with the price. Excellent wifi.

Cons: There is nothing negative to say. If you do not like modern business hotels, then it's not the place for you.

The room was good size and staff on whole went above and beyond what was expected.

Pros: Breakfast was slightly underwhelming ,however standard fare.

Pros: Good location, just a short walk (10 mins) to the city centre. The area while not charming on its own is very well situated to both the station and the historic town. The room itself was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Cons: Nothing of note

Pros: Bob on reception was amazing, so friendly and managed to get us booked in to our room just after 12.00. He even stopped on his way home (on his bike ) to take a picture for us of us in front of the city gate. We found all the staff to be incredibly friendly but Bob is worth a special mention! Breakfast was a delicious buffet with a wide choice of hot and cold food. The omelette was cooked to order and was delicious.

Worth staying

Pros: Nice stuff, quiet room with all needed furniture. Even the railway wasnt annoying.

Perfect stop in a lovely town.

Pros: We had a series of calamaties (they always come in threes) Robi and Bob were extremely helpful.
