Pros: Cozy apartment in a really nice position and with a kind host. There's also a terrace which is really peaceful. Very large shower!
Cons: The shower is a bit slippery, maybe some padding would be good. The sink in the kitchen (but also the one in the bathroom) is really small, washing dishes was a bit uncomfortable. Also be really careful on the tiny stairs! :) I love tiny houses, but some people may feel a little restricted.

Pros: Thomas is responsive to all the questions and easy to talk with. Gives all the details what to do before we enter and after we leave the property. Complete kitchen and bathroom essentials.
Cons: Nothing evrything is good.

Pros: We were two adults and our 14-year-old son. The apartment had an excellent terrace, the place is very quiet and cozy. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed, and the host is very caring. In addition, we were able to park the car just near the house - as it was weekend, many places were available. A great experience!

Pros: In a city strapped for housing, it was great to have our own place, at an affordable price, and in a beautiful location! Thomas was an excellent host
Cons: We are very health-conscious, and were not fully comfortable with the (mild) smell emanating from the heater in the bedroom (it was early June, and very wet/cold-ish, so the heat was on), but that’s the only thing I didn’t like 100%

We really enjoyed our time in Oegstgeest
Pros: We found Oegstgeest to be a good location to base ourselves enabling us to visit Amsterdam, Utrecht and other nearby towns easily Parking was not an issue There were many vacant street parking bays near the property We wanted to visit Amsterdam and Utrecht and chose to take the train The train station was only a 15 min walk to Leiden We had an issue at one stage with the power going off but the host was on to it straight away to ensure it was rectified The host was very accommodating
Cons: The bathroom was a quite small

perfect for 2 people for longer stays
Pros: the day before arrival I got written instructions on everything from getting the key to how the tv works, very thoughtful. Very quiet neighborhood, supermarket, restaurants and bakery close by. 2 min walk to 2 bus stations, 6 min drive by bus to central station which makes it easy to get anywhere. Washing machine and dryer is there, also the terrase was wonderful. Everything was clean, beds comfy, extra towels and bedding, we had everything we needed. Host was quick to respond to messages, asked if everything was okay once we arrived and was very accommodating and friendly in his communication. Perfect place to stay and enjoy Leiden!
Cons: I was told to take the trash out, remove bed sheets and collect towels which all should be included in the rent I paid. Be aware that the stairs are very steep, like in most places in the Netherlands.

Pros: It was clean and it had enough towels, blankets, well equiped kitchen, nice terrace
Cons: The bed was small and when sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room it was noisy
