It was ok

Pros: The rooms are nice and spacious. Checkin and checkout was very efficient

Cons: One of the towels had a strange brown mark on it. Didn't appear very clean. The breakfast has limited offer for a hotel of this standard. 30 minutes before the end options get very much reduced and are not refilled.

Lovely stopover location

Pros: This is our second stay. Last time we had a family room but this time we had 2 twin rooms. Although they weren’t joined we did have a door outside from each which we could go between the rooms from. It’s a lovely hotel and a good stopover location when making our way up to Denmark. We enjoyed the pancake house down the road and would highly recommend a visit there too. It’s great it has a little pool to use as well and the buffet breakfast was tasty.

Cons: It’s a little bit noisy with the road when on that side of the hotel but this does quieten down during the night.

Pleasant stay in Nijkerk

Pros: The breakfast is delicious and definitely worth the price!

Cons: The hotel is not exactly centrally located but we knew that before booking so all good in the end

Pros: Everything was top notch. It's hard to wish for more.

Good hotel in a convenient location for us in our trip.

Pros: Staff were friendly and when we realised we had accidentally left a bag of purchases behind they located it and kept it safe for us to collect the following day. Beds were comfy (and I am terribly picky as we have a super thick tempur mattress at home and since getting that I hate staying anywhere else as the beds are all so hard but these were good, not too soft but not too firm).

Cons: No fridge in room. The price of breakfast. I always resent paying the price for breakfast when all I want is a bowl of yoghurt or fruit. I wish they would do an option for a small breakfast cheaper as not everyone wants to eat so much.

Pros: Nice stay, and good evening meals - but the breakfast choice was poor compared to the other hotels we have stayed at.

Cons: Breakfast

Pros: Nice bright location. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking and a good wheelchair entrance. Nice rooms with Aircon and a mini fridge.

A worthy stay

Pros: Very helpful, nice staff. At the reception desk you can buy some snacks and drinks. Interesting selection of juwelery close by the reception desk that can be shopped for a last minute present. In the room: Nice rain-shower fully enclosed, coffee machine with capsules, thee bags, little fridge and a safe. The pool was cool, even tho not too big it's with a jet in the middle for swim training. The spa has two tannig beds, a Swedish sauna with 4 beds/benches (dry& or with water for steam) and a Turkish steam bath, also contrast shower fuses. All those are available untill 23 o'clock which is very convenient, especially if you arrive late. Large parking with spots for electric cars.

Cons: With 5 adults in the pool it's getting overcrowded even tho this scenario is not very likely to happen often. The small phone lockers in the Spa (not allowed phone use in there for privacy reasons) are all locked without keys on them. The rooms are a bit old school and dark colours. Not the best pillows. Shared balcony for few rooms together (in our case, not sure if all rooms have balcony available).

Fine hotel

Pros: Clean neat room and bathroom. Nice shower giving much water.

Another nice stay at the Golden Tulip. Friendly, comfortable and lovely food!

Pros: The room was a lovely size, perfectly clean and comfortable with lots of room to work and doors to the patio area. Breakfast was tip top as always. This is a comfortable hotel and friendly for people travelling alone. The bus from Nijkerk Station stops right outside which is also very handy.

Cons: As I was on the ground floor this time, it was a little noisy at night with doors opening and closing. The pillows were too poofy to sleep well and unfortunately the pool was not open :-(
