Airy clean roomy apartment with all gadgets. Very close to bus stop, grocery, other shops.

Pros: Airy, large space. Fully equipped kitchen. Fully equipped with other gadgets like washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, mops, ironing board, clothes drying rack, microwave, coffee machine. Hot water flowed instantly. Excellent location. Extra air mattress was provided free on request.

Cons: The mattresses were too soft and in the double bed two mattresses were at two slightly different kevels. A cutting board is needed in the kitchen.

hard to beat accom in leiden

Pros: location is amazing and id be supised if it could be beaten in Leiden. Room was very clean and had everything you need for short or long term. I stayed for 3 weeks and loved it. Its expensive but worth it if you want to relax in style

Lovely location and apartment, management responds to any issues.

Pros: Apartment is great, fantastic location, and we would gladly return if we wanted There were some minor glitches like inadequate appliance instructions and blocked vacuum cleaner, but the things we reported they sent someone to mend. It’s easy to pop round to the management office to deal with any issues.

Perfect spot

Pros: We stayed here for 2.5 months, absolutely perfect place to explore Leiden in a very cool monument building. Well finished, high quality appliances, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Luxury apartment overlooking the Oude Rijn in the centre of historic Leiden - perfect!

Pros: We loved everything about our apartment at Pakasa! After nearly two weeks, it felt almost like home and we were sad to leave. The apartment is just as in the photos - beautifully furnished with everything to a very high quality. The beds were extremely comfortable - so much so, we made a note of the brand of mattress for the next time we need to buy a new bed. Shower was superb. Washing machine was very handy to have. We liked the apartment so much, we may consider applying for a longer stay when we're ready to move to Leiden later this year, to use as our base while we look for a house to buy.

Cons: We noted when we arrived that the cleaning had not been finished before our arrival. We notified our hosts and appreciated that the cleaning staff came back and offered to sort out whatever needed to be done but we had already done it ourselves. What impressed us was the fast response - it was quick and easy to contact the hosts, they replied very quickly and every effort was made to rectify the issue.

Great cosy base for exploring Leiden and the area, I'd definitely stay again!

Pros: Great location in the heart of the historic part of the city, very easy to explore, and 20 minutes walk from the train station for seeing further afield into Amsterdam and beyond. Very cosy and well equipped. Literally a stone's throw from Leiden Christmas market too if you're there in mid-December, and five minutes from a supermarket for stocking up on essentials. Excellent bonus to have our own washer dryer in the apartment and a dishwasher so we didn't have to worry about doing dishes on holiday. The shower is spacious enough for two, and the sofa was so comfortable we kept falling asleep on it! WiFi worked perfectly, and the information on how to use appliances was very informative and appreciated. We were also gifted a set of three LED candles for Christmas on our check-out day which was a lovely surprise!

Cons: The bed is two single mattresses held together, so you do need to avoid slipping down the crack in the middle. There is car parking but it is a high fee every day which adds up fast, and honestly, we didn't miss having a car - unless you have mobility issues I'd recommend walking and using public transport, or hiring a bike.

Pros: Pakasa is in a CD great central position in Leiden. Our unit was fully self contained with everything you could possibly need for your stay.

Pros: Great location and the overall comfort of the apartment. It also has a very well equipped kitchen for self catering and a lovely terrace by the canal. I would highly recommend this place.

Cons: The washing machine did not work properly, it did not drain water so everything was still soaked and dripping after the complete run.

Would definitely come back

Pros: Wonderful location, the best views and a peaceful setting. Proximity to supermarket, shops, Saturday market and within 15 minutes (beautiful) walk of the station. Very comfortable beds. Quiet.

Cons: The larger nonstick pans were badly scratched/unusable. Do watch out for the climb down the ladder from the bed on the mezzanine level -- quite tricky at night!
