Park Mansion Hotel

Pros: Although I had already checked the photos of the apartment before my arrival, I was still amazed by the view and the interior decoration. The welcoming atmosphere created by the owner was very pleasant, and the well-prepared snacks, suitable for all guests, along with real flowers in the room, added a lovely touch. There are so many advantages to this place—it’s like a whole page of them—and I can easily understand why it has such a high rating, just 10 minutes after arriving. Despite having visited Amsterdam many times before, this stay has given me a new sense of excitement and anticipation for my future trips to the city.

If this hotel is available, don't bother looking elsewhere. Exceptional.

Pros: We knew this was going to be something out of the ordinary with the hotel only having 5 rooms in total but we were not prepared for how magnificent Park Mansion hotel is. The location first sold us due to the walking distance proximity of the Museumplein and access to public trams. Our suite was the aptly named Empire and it felt like we had travelled back to Regency-era Holland. The decor is pure 1800s with silk and velvet draped walls, frescoed ceilings and marble console tables. The scent of fresh flowers was a daily delight. While the modern cons of a kitchenette and bathroom were on the small side, the quality and comfort was wonderful. We were spoilt for choice for food and drink and the heated bathroom floor was lovely. Our host Ferry was amazing. So helpful, welcoming and made the visit superb.

Cons: If you don't like stairs, this is not the hotel for you. We didn't care and loved the art-filled stairwell.

Pros: Superbly appointed and decorative hotel. Ferry was amazingly communicative and helped with recommendations. Room well appointed, clean and nice calming view of the garden.

Cons: The stairs are steep but Ferry will help with your bags

Pros: Fantastic room, very spacious and with an open fire. Great with a small kitchenette and a nice bathroom, everything was very clean. Ferry is a great host, so nice and welcoming! Very informative upon arrival, perfect start for the weekend trip. We would absolutely come here again, thanks!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Park Mansion. It felt warm and cozy, and the room was very spacious. The only downside was that the bathroom was a bit small, and the toilet seemed quite high — probably normal for the Netherlands. The staircase was extremely steep, so this place may not be suitable for elderly guests or people with mobility issues. The location was absolutely top-notch. We came for a concert, and having the venue within walking distance made everything so much easier. All the luxury shops were just around the corner, which I personally loved. There were restaurants for every taste nearby, and the area wasn’t too crowded with tourists. You can also walk to the city center instead of taking a taxi and going in circles. But what we appreciated the most was the host — incredibly welcoming and helpful. He carried our suitcases up and down from the third floor. Overall, I give this place 100/10.

It would be hard to find a better place to stay in Amsterdam

Pros: Lovely and cozy apartments close to city center, well equipped kitchen. Very nice housekeeper Ferry has sent message before our arrival with instructions about checking in and information how to get from airport to apartments and has been supporting us during our stay.

Cons: Everything was excellent! Highly recommend these apartments.

Petite 5 star hotel

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous! Ferry runs his building like a petite 5 star hotel. He is the best and extremely helpful with restaurant tips. I had the best time. It’s in a great area and everything is close by. It’s across the street from a beautiful park.

Overall excellance. Superb loctation. Superbly helpful hosts/owners.

Pros: Andrew and Kerry really looked after us. Steep spiral stairs, but hosts carry our luggge both ways. Andrew's recommened restaurants were all excellent. Couldn't have been more helpful. The place itself is unique with impressive artwork along the stairs and real character to the building. Location was first-rate for museum visits.
