Pros: Everything was nice, especially the concierge that helped me try book restaurants for Valentine’s Day and also told us about places we can visit! Even the cleaning ladies were very sweet and the room service employee was Romanian and it was really nice to have someone talk my language there. Overall 10/10 I recommend!

Pros: Beautiful, iconic riverside location. The service was a highlight, the team is incredibly friendly and attentive. The excellent a la carte breakfast was a highlight of our stay.

Cons: The property is showing its age; a full renovation is needed to restore the common areas to their former glory.

Pros: The hotel itself is pretty good. It’s very beautiful. It’s kind of like old style. There are a few problems that our beds were a bit wet and that there is no Internet in there and it’s hard to get because usually like hotels actually have Internet like their own, so everything was very good. The room is very clean. The price is pretty good. I mean it’s just you know it matches the price and the so everything was perfect. We enjoyed the stay

Relaxing and luxurious

Pros: Glorious place, great spa, beautiful bathrooms, good breakfast, friendly staff

Cons: A few niggles: -very slightly understaffed? -steam bath in the spa needs some essential oils or maintenance? -power points should be on both sides of the bed? -mixup with our bag when we arrived, 20 minute wait for it to be brought up? -inclusive breakfasts should be available to be brought to the room for a tray charge?

Fabulous grand hotel at a reasonable price … but getting milked

Pros: Fabulous grand hotel building. Excellently renovated some time ago. VERY reasonable pricing. Great wine choices in the “treasures” part of the wine list.

Cons: There seems to be some crazy cost cutting going on. The toilet paper is cheaper than on the French autoroute. The water pressure is dialed down to the bare minimum for a shower. The bar upstairs is closed at night. There is no gastronomic restaurant. The staff (excluding some in the restaurant) are super young / inexperienced

Wonderful 3 nights in Amsterdam in an exceptional hotel.

Pros: The warm welcome from receptionist when we arrived. She did her best to facilitate an early check in as we had a very early flight. Beautiful flowers in the foyer. The staff at breakfast were equally outstanding. Beautiful view of the canal at breakfast.

Cons: Perfect hotel in a perfect location.
