A great place to stay for canal view and really submerse yourself in the Amsterdam canal vibe

Pros: Staying on the canal was a great. Enjoyed waving to all the canal cruise boats as they went past!! Fabulous location, 5 minute walk to trams and metro providing great links around Amsterdam. Vibrant food market over the bridge with diverse range of street food ideal for lunch. Had a little bit of difficulty getting heating going but once we mastered it was very cosy and warm. Jeff was very quick with advise regarding heating and also checked in with us first thing the next morning to see if all was okay!

Pros: Authentic, fun, comfortable, warm, quiet, well equipped. We loved it!

Cons: Squeaky handle on the bathroom door! Difficult to find anything to fault.

Good sleep

Pros: It was quiet, the beds comfortable and we had a good night sleep. It was also very convenient for a family to have two separate bedrooms. The apartment was clean and everything worked well. The location was a bit far from the historical center. It was the first time we stayed in a house boat and we expected that it would have been somewhat special. In the end, the experience was pretty much the same as in any air bnb. Only the price was a bit high.

Cons: It was very cold when we entered. The temperature was close to zero and the windows were open. It took some time to warm up the house.

Pros: We loved staying at the boathouse with two teens. Everything is in walking distance. The rooms were big enough for us. We loved seeing the boats go by.

Cons: We would have loved to use the terrace to sit and watch the boats, but the door is closed and not to be used by guests.

Pros: What a treat staying somewhere unique and beautiful. Great location. Comfortable facilities. Good fun.

Cons: Shower didn't drain very well ...some minor flooding in the bathroom.

It was a unique experience to stay at a beautiful houseboat.

Pros: Great location. Walkable to grocery stores, restaurants and attractions. It was safe and quiet. Highly recommend for people travelling with children.

Cons: We enjoyed our stay. There's nothing we didn't like.

Spacious and comfortable stay in a great location

Pros: Very spacious compared to hotels of this price range. Comfortably fits 4 people. Excellent location. Clear check in instructions.

Pros: A great stay. Clean and well appointed. Good place to explore the city from and a unique chance to live on the canal.

Best spot in Amsterdam

Pros: Clean, tidy, had everything you needed! Perfect location, host really responsive and check in was smooth. Brilliant stay, best place we’ve stayed in Amsterdam and we’ve been 6 times!
