Houseboat-Amsterdam

Fantastic!

Pros: A wonderfully presented accommodation. Warm, clean and well equipped in a super location. Quiet yet very central. Jeffrey was a great host too. Comfy beds and pillows led to great sleep.

Cons: Nothing! It was fab!

Pros: Conveniently located yet away from any noise. IT was warm and well equipped.

Pros: Location was great - central but not too close to bars/restaurants so I found it quiet at night. Comfortable beds and sofa. Good shower. Good size TV which had Netflix on it. Kitchen had everything I wanted. A unique experience staying on a boat in Amsterdam. I would stay here again if I had the chance.

Quirky different place to stay

Pros: Close to the station yet out of it enough to be quiet at night. The boat is lovely and quirky and the instructions on arrival were perfect. There are some small maintenance items that need attention and perhaps some new bedding, but overall it was good and we enjoyed our stay.

A hidden gem in a convenient location.

Pros: A 12minute walk from the train station, staying on a boat with a fairly secluded outside space, what's not to like! There is a well stocked Jumbo supermarket, 15 mins walk. Space outside to park hired bikes. All water, heating and air con worked flawlessly. This is not a luxury destination, but it is a clean, well appointed, good value option for folk that fend for themselves. All communication with Jeffrey was prompt and polite.

Cons: I bumped my head on the hatch leading to the upstairs bedroom more than once, my own fault I suppose. Some padding on the edge would have helped.

Pros: Absolutely spotless and quite close to the centre. It would have been absolutely amazing if there was a little outside space to look over the river. But the street outlook at the outdoor space was fine.

Cons: Rockwool insulation behind the curtain as you walked in to the space. Only as it can cause some skin itching problems for people with sensitive skin. I know there’s a need for soundproofing and insulation but maybe there could be a better solution. And maybe the memory foam mattresses and pillows. If there was a way to rectify this I can’t see anything else wrong with this lovely houseboat. I would stay again even if this wasn’t changed thinking about it.

Excellent, easy to deal with host

Pros: We loved the location and houseboat had everything we needed and wanted. Very clean. Maybe a better pillow and mirror in water closet. Minor things. Overall excellent

Pros: Something a bit different and very in keeping with Amsterdam style.

Lovely houseboat!

Pros: Loved the location. Was very central. Perfect to get to places easily. Disliked how scared I was to drop the key in the canal when I used it for the door haha. But that's my only issue with the place. It was very nice.
