PH93 Amsterdam Central

Pros: Firstly, we met our great host, Henry, by chance and we asked some questions about where to go or eat. He answered all the questions patiently. The room was superbly clean, and it was cleaned each day by the staff. The snacks and drinks are included in the price, so you can enjoy your complimentary snacks. Furthermore, the location is above great. We walked through the city mostly. If you need to get to any transportation, the Central Station is just a 5-minute walk away. Plus, the view from our room was amazing. Every morning I woke up, brewed my espresso and watched the view for a while.

Cons: There are just two subjects we don't like: 1) The room was cold, and we didn't have any idea whether we could increase the heating temperature or not. We wanted it warmer. 2) Early in the morning, there was a noise coming from upstairs. Unfortunately, we had to wake up -unwillingly- because of the noise. Bonus: The stairs are funny :D If you plan to bring heavy luggage, we sincerely advise you not to.

Perfectly designed compact base in central Amsterdam

Pros: Location is perfect, right in a canal next to central station, soundproofing is excellent, heating is strong as is the water pressure. Also the amenities and lovely details are more than you’d expect for such a compact room.

Cons: The stairs are very steep, even for Amsterdam, so if you’re not prepared it could be an issue, but it was no issue for us and merely added to the charm.

very convenient location for a few nights best for alone travellers

Pros: The room I stayed in was in an excellent location. I found it easily after getting off the train. Since I was traveling to explore, I could leave the things I bought in the room and go out to explore again. Everything was available in the room; I didn’t feel any missing items. Because of the location, I felt safe since I was travelling alone. Oh, last but not least, I slept like a baby—the bed was very comfortable.

Cons: On my first day, the bathroom trash hadn’t been emptied; it might have been overlooked, so I didn’t make a big deal of it. There was a dead fly by the window and black hair by the sink. On the last day, the Wi-Fi malfunctioned. I spoke with the host; they guided me, but no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it working again. I didn’t want to bother the host again. I had to rely on my own internet access. I had trouble carrying my luggage by myself on the narrow stairs, but that’s typical of European old houses, so I knew what to expect.

Pros: Location is good just minutes walk from Amsterdam Central station. Lotsa cafes/restaurants around

Cons: There’s a very steep stairs to the room :) not a problem for us but maybe not for the seniors ;p

Pros: location was close to city centre & train station if needed, room was clean, tidy air conditioning & a topped up fridge & I liked there was a pair of scissors in fridge ( good thought as helpful when away). Aswell as being so close to central station & city centre room was very quiet

Good base for exploring the city

Pros: Great location, clean, comfortable and nice selection of welcome snacks and drinks (which got replenished each day by the cleaner!). Henry, the owner, was super helpful and accommodating.

Cons: Nothing - it was great!

Enjoyable

Pros: Convenient location the complementary coke beer water was appreciated. Cleaning the room everyday was a bonus so were the umbrellas . Tips about restaurants were spot on

Cons: We couldn’t get the Netflix/tv working

Pros: Everything was perfect - from the location, to the bed, to the service. Our room was made up every day which really surprised us positively. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. We definitely recommend and would book again.

Cons: Nothing - everything was great!

Perfect spot for a short stay. Stones throw from the station if that’s needed.

Pros: Very impressed that the room and bed was made up. Totally unexpected so thank you for that.
