Netherlands 🇳🇱

Location, location, location

Pros: Excellent location, large sized room, good facilities in the room. No breakfast but plenty of bites, snacks and drinks provided. The owner I spoke to was very kind. It’s a typical Amsterdam house, which I loved. Very characteristic.

Cons: I liked all - but note that the house has very steep and narrow stairs. No elevator. No issue for me but good to know.

Pros: David was very friendly and helpful. The building itself is super charming with great location!! Super typical Amsterdam building including the stairs XD decorations around made you feel like a true local. My room was very spacious and comfortable with many amenities that I got to enjoy and were greatly appreciated (for example hair straightener since I forgot mine). Would definitely recommend and would repeat my stay 100%

Amazing stay

Pros: We really liked that everything was thought out down to the smallest detail. Everything was described and prepared — where to go for food, which places to visit, what local dishes to try and more recommendations. There were umbrellas by the entrance too. Room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The location was excellent, right next to the main streets, with everything you might need nearby. It was also close to the train station. David was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very interesting

Pros: The old house was very interesting. We stayed in the top room and could also see a bit of the city from there. The room set-up was very different from any other accommodation

Cons: Staying in the top room, just below the roof was a bit noisy from the birds, but it was not so bad 😄

Loved our stay

Pros: We loved our stay at Tulip of Amsterdam. The hosts David & Chris are lovely. The location was perfect. Couldn't believe what an incredible old building it was. There were a few steep steps to the room but this just adds to the character of the building. I was travelling with my son who suffers from anxiety and he felt very safe here which meant a lot. Would definitely stay again. Nothing to dislike, it was perfect for us.

Pros: Chris and David were so welcoming and kind. We loved our stay and felt truly at home. Our room was beautiful, super clean and fully equipped. Special mention to Heidi, the sweetest cat ever :) We would definitely stay here again next time!

Pros: Great location, just a 10-second walk to the metro station. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The travel advice from the host was extremely helpful. I even saved the website with their favorite places in town, including cafes, restaurants, bars, etc., for future reference. I got a taste of how amazing Amsterdam is from the host and from the stay. Fantastic experience!
