Amsterdam Central Guest House

Pros: Everything. Gani was an angel he was so helpful with everything and so accommodating. We will definitely be coming back here again, hopefully soon! Thank you Gani!

Nice, cozy, clean room, convenient location, great host

Pros: Gani (the owner) is super nice and helpful, the location is amazing (it is above an Italian restaurant you HAVE TO visit:)), the room was spacious and clean and cozy, there was coffee and tea and some snacks ready for the guests in the kitchen... the best accommodation we had in AMS (we have been 6 or 7 times)

Cons: The bed is softer which might be fine for others but we are fans of firmer bed (but it didn't take away from our experience there:))

Charming atttic in the center

Couldn’t have been better

Pros: Just perfect for our short break, fabulous central location Clean and comfortable, Easy access and communication. Steep stairs, but typical of Amsterdam!

Quirky comfortable room close to restaurants and station.

Pros: Our loft room was quirky and comfortable with a new bathroom - and we appreciated use of the kitchen to make tea and eat our breakfast. Our host Gani was very accommodating, friendly and helpful - including carrying our luggage up and downstairs.

Cons: This is on the edge of the red light district - which may not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, it is very convenient to the station and restaurants. It also has many steep steps up to the loft room so it might not be suitable for elderly or unfit people. That aside, we enjoyed our stay and felt well looked after.

Lovely Stay Super Host

Pros: Let’s start with host outstanding from communicating to helpfulness from start to finish won’t find better. The room was clean and made use of the space well. Having a fridge in the room a super plus. Where this place is it is on one of the main streets so expect a lot of noise throughout the night and early morning cleaning so you weigh up what’s more important being super close to the action (which is what I wanted) or somewhere quiet.

Cons: Let me put here my experience this just NOT change from a 10 and that I would stay here again. The loft was at the top of very steep stairs (no lift but host offers to help) the room is quirky has a slight slope on it. The bed I found very low to the floor maybe because of the beams so did struggle a bit to get up but bed super comfy. The bathroom was well fitted out there is a step up so have to be careful coming out especially in the middle of the night lol. But all super clean. What I put is about how I found the room not to criticise it.

Fantastic host in an amazing location to explore

Pros: The location was absolutely perfect. It was very close to the train station and right in amongst the vibe of the city. Great atmosphere all around us. Gani was brilliant! One of the best hosts we have ever come across.

Pros: Gani was a wonderful host. The location is extremely central and the place was spotlessly clean.

Feel like home close to the railway station

Pros: The host is a really nice man. Gani was very polite and punctual. We were lucky to be allowed an early check-in.

Cons: Not suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs, but it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Since it’s in the city center, it can be noisy - but that’s to be expected if you want to stay in this locatio

A beautiful hideout in a heart of De Wallen.

Pros: Perfect location and authentic setting in a modernised house of 15th century. The host was very friendly and helpful towards us!
