Canal House Inn

Pros: Location was great, away from all the hustle and bustle but still an easy walking distance away. There were lovely cafes dotted around us, which was nice to grab a morning coffee for your stroll into city centre. The room was super clean, cozy and comfortable, had everything you needed and had a small view of the canal which was really pretty in the mornings. The room was really spacious too, which was also a plus! Our host Christian was lovely, super easy to contact and reachable if we needed anything and provided us with European plugs, as we forgot ours. Really couldn't of asked for a better stay and would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Fabulous quiet location but close enough to the centre. Chris the host was just great available when needed. Pointing out some great places to eat nearby.

Cons: Steep stairs but that’s everywhere in Amsterdam

Pros: Perfect and very accommodating host who welcomed us on arrival. The location is perfect, a lovely quite local area of Amsterdam, away from the tourist rush and yet close to the centre. All recommendations provided by the host were excellent.

Cons: Nothing, the site was well described, showing the challenge of the steep starecase, which is part of the old Amsterdam falir, so nothing was disappointing. Everything was perfect.

Welcoming and comfortable

Pros: Short break for me and my girlfriend. The property was very clean and comfortable. Christian went to many lengths to ensure exact instruction so we could get from airport to property. We were greeted with a complimentary red wine and a large bottle of champagne for New Year’s Eve. I was lucky enough to meet Christian and he was super friendly. Highly recommend the property and Christian. We will be booking again next time we go to Amsterdam.

A wonderful stay in Amsterdam

Pros: Our stay with Christian was simply wonderful! Christian is an outstanding and attentive host. He reached out to us right after we booked the apartment, kept in touch until our arrival, welcomed us personally, and made sure we felt comfortable. We were upgraded to an absolutely perfect apartment – newly renovated, very spacious, and right in the city center – just 10 minutes walk from everything. The apartment was spotless, clean, and very comfortable. If Christian offers you an upgrade – say yes. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Favorite Stay in Amsterdam

Pros: This is the only place to book in Amsterdam. Amazing position and surroundings, extremely safe area with all needed services nearby. The view is one in a million, gives you the real Canal House experience.

Pros: Christian is a really nice host. Lots of small attentions, great location and comfy room. Could have not wished for a better host !

Amazing stay in Amsterdam

Pros: We were upgraded to a fabulous apartment! Christian met us when we arrived and checked us in straight away. We were given tips for the area and felt very welcomed. The apartment was stunning, the location was amazing. Thank you!
