Basic, but nice

Pros: Good value for money. Nice bed and proper shower. Spacious room. Clean. Parking.

Cons: Isolated location, not much going on. Very basic.

Pros: The rooms were recently renovated and felt fresh and modern, with everything you need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent value for money: plenty of choice, good quality, and served with attention to detail. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant had a nice, welcoming feel. A great place for a short, comfortable stay without overpaying.

Cons: The room was clean and recently renovated, but several details made the stay less comfortable from the perspective of a solo female traveller. My room looked out over the campsite and had access to a shared balcony, which didn’t feel private or secure. The balcony door only locked at the top (bottom one removed) and seemed easy to open from the outside. For someone travelling alone, that’s not a very reassuring setup. There was no air conditioning, and the window couldn’t really open, which made the room feel closed in. The hallway still looked a bit dated compared to the fresh rooms and had a slightly odd smell, which added to a less pleasant first impression. After 9 p.m. there were no drinks available anymore, so getting a bottle of water wasn’t possible. A small kettle in the room would be a thoughtful addition for guests arriving late. Overall, it’s clear the hotel is improving its facilities, but a few practical and safety-focused updates would really help make solo female guests feel more at ease and comfortable during their stay.

Good place to spend time

Pros: A good quiet place as a starting point for exploring Amsterdam.

I will be attending the same event in 2026, once I know the dates I will book this hotel again!

Pros: Good location for purpose of my visit. Room provided everything I needed including a balcony. Great shower in bathroom.

Cons: Inconsiderate guests slamming room doors early morning whilst asleep

Pros: Very good quality/price ratio. Clean rooms, good bets, spacious room with balcony, free parking. Over all OK.

Cons: A bit audible traffic from the road next to the hotel, but not that bad.

Clean, quiet and did exactly the job

Pros: Coffee is excellent -Bean to cup - with a real coffee taste and that is nowadays already a miracle !!!! You also have warm bread which is also a second miracle nowadays.

Cons: It is a shame the eggs were too cooked for some donging but at least the eggs were there. *overall the breakfast is well above average and the variety was also great. I would have scored it more if I had a double bed, I dislike 2 x singles they are not meant nor designed for fully grown ups men.

Pros: Really beautiful location.the staff were brilliant the rooms were big and spacious the food was delicious and the breakfast was super the staff are brilliant 10 0ut of 10 well done to everyone. Will definitely stay with you again
