Wonderful, clean, tranquil, beautiful setting

Pros: Fabulous hotel, beautiful room in lovely surroundings. Loved the pool & saunas. Yhe bar and bar restaurant were fabulous & really enjoyed the good from the bar. The main restaurant menu was style over substance and lacking in vegetarian offers. I ordered i think the only veggie starter, the oddest combination Porobelli mushroom with hollandaise. I was do hungry I ate it but it was odd and felt really sickly afterwards. These 2 ingredients do not go together! Staff were, without exception lovely. I would have liked to be able to download an Englush menu using a QR code. Same with the offerings of the beauty / massage - no knfo avail. not on reception desk or in rooms so didn't bother. There is a lack of info in rooms/ dedicated TV channel or at reception, which is a shame as local transport, things to see etc, even details about the hotel etc would have been nice - even to be able to book a table at the hotel restaurant from your room would be useful.

Cons: No drinking water fountain/ cups in pool/ sauna area. Lack of info / QR codes to download info and menus in Englush Inability to book treatments / tables online Lack of local info. We all have smart phones, but it is nice to sit and read curated info. I wanted a break from my phone.

Pros: Nice village Bergen aan zee. Swimming pool, Nice rooms and atmosphere overall

An expensive treat!

Pros: Staff are fantastic - always ready to please. Breakfast is excellent with lots of choice and nice seating areas. Bar food is also great (and needs to be as the restaurant is always full!!). VERY quiet in general. Indoor pool is lovely to have but FAR too many kids using it - would be nice to have an age restriction. Far too noisy to use during out stay.

Cons: An age restriction in the pool/sauna area. Way too many kids, screaming and shouting in what should be a restful area. But it was during the Christmas holidays, so probably not such a problem at quieter times of the year. It's VERY overpriced for the area as it's not really walkable to the village, so you're restricted to the hotel's facilities unless you want to drive everywhere. Our room was quite cramped and there was no mini-bar fridge to use (and no balcony to put our drinks on!)

Pros: Restaurants, swimming pool, nearby attractions (dunes and forest walk)

Cons: Rooms were clean, but the bathroom tiles felt a bit old. Would stay again nevertheless

Pleasant

Pros: Breakfast was amazing. Dinner was good enough. Facilities for kids are great. Spa zone is fabulous.

Cons: No bathrobe and slippers :(

Serene get away.

Pros: The hotel is located in a gorgeous forest close to the beach. It is fantastic. The breakfast was very nice and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful.

Cons: There was no robe in the room. The hotel is expensive, so the bare minimum should be a robe and slippers in the room. You can rent one, but I would suggest including them in the price of the room.

Pros: Great location, very nice restaurant. Very good for a get away.

Cons: For this price category some things would be expected: hangers for the hand towels in the bathroom. A mini fridge. A quieter climate system. More comfortable (slightly softer) bed. Or at least a top layer that connects the two mattresses.

Comfortable, calm and happy.

Pros: Lovely location with nice facilities , nice breakfast and spacious room with comfortable bed. Missed a mini bar for a hotel room in this price category. Liked the art both inside and outside.

Cons: The bathroom was missing a shower cap and the choice of tv channels was very poor. Plus the sauna was really tiny - suggest you join it with the room next door.

Very nice and family friendly hotel in a beautiful location.

Pros: Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Great food, awesome breakfast with huge variety. Decent wellness area, very clean.

Cons: Bathroom lights go automatically on, and I didn’t find a way how to dim/turn off. Not very convenient in the night. Staff was kind and nice, but sometimes a bit slow and unresponsive (in almost empty restaurant). Water in the jacuzzi and swimming pool was slightly too cold.

Pros: Perfect location in the dunes. Neat room with all you need
