Hotel Heer Hugo

Pros: Location was close to station and to the place which I visited. 24/7 reception coverage, staff very helpfull with check in and out timing.

Cons: It would have been very helpful and useful a kettle in the room and some tea/coffee bags.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful, room was spacious and nicely decorated, bed was comfy and the breakfast was delicious. Nice vibe would stay again!

The location was good to close to a railway station and close to our family so we would stay there again

Pros: It was a good comfortable bed and great staff and a nice breakfast

Cons: We did not like the stains in the carpet in our room. It made it seem unclean, but I think it was clean.

Pros: I have stayed at the hotel before and the main reason for me booking again was to be able to dine there after each of my business days. Unfortunately on this trip the restaurant was closed for the whole time due to the only chef being ill. The room itself was comfortable and breakfast acceptable.

Cons: The rooms are somewhat dated and under maintained. Damage to the bath fixed with tape and the bed cracked and delaminating. I knew the hotel side looks less maintained than the restaurant side from previous visits but the food in the restaurant more than makes up for it. On this occasion the restaurant was closed for all three days of my trip, which spoilt it somewhat. Apparently they are struggling to find kitchen staff and are reliant on only 1 chef.

Pros: The staff was really friendly, the room was big and spacious and a nice Restaurant. Reacted positive on my request for early checkin

Cons: Although i upgraded the room to a luxury room i was looking at the brick wall. I wished there is a small koffee machine or somehow to make a morning koffee and enjoy a lazy morning.

Great central location from which to visit other areas of north holland.

Pros: Staff went out of their way to help with all requests.

Cons: There was a fair bit of noise from rooms beside and above. Unavoidable cilty construction happening at the time of our visit.

Pros: It was in a central location for our purposes. Even though it was near a busy road, the rooms quiet.

Good value for the area

Pros: All the public areas were tastefully decorated, the parking was easy, and there was a sense of space everywhere. The room was a good size.

Cons: The room was not as well renovated as the rest of the hotel

Value For Money

Pros: I liked the location and the atmosphere of the hotel.

Cons: There are no small kettles or cups in the rooms to make a hot drink.
