Holiday Inn - the niu

Very enjoyable and we intend to stay at the Niu when we next visit the Netherlands

Pros: Everything was excellent, as it has been on the previous occasion that I have stayed at the Niu in Haarlem and the Niu in Hamburg

Cons: Everything was very good. One thought that would have made the experience even better for us. It would be really good if you would consider putting a kettle in the room. I know there is the opportunity to access free hot drinks during the breakfast time but we were attending concerts in the evening and not arriving back to our room until midnight. The ability to make a cup of tea/coffee then would have been very welcome.

Pros: Pefect location next to Patronaat. Could just roll into bed after the concert.

Pros: The niu Dairy Haarlem is a good, modern hotel offering excellent value for a city stay. It is well located, within walking distance of Haarlem’s historic centre, restaurants, cafés, and public transport links. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and contemporary, with a pleasant design and good amenities. Housekeeping standards are high, and staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a reliable and comfortable choice for a short stay in Haarlem.

Great location, friendly staff, relatively affordable

Pros: The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, it’s easy to find from Schipol airport and has good bus connections. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I was there in January 2026 and it was snowing so the hotel was peaceful. Breakfast buffet is great. They have a common area by the reception where you can play board games.

Great Stay for Massive Wagons gig.

Pros: It was next door to the venue I was visiting Haarlem for. Hotel was high standard, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

Cons: The bar could have had proper beer pumps rather than just selling cans.

Comfiest hotel bed ever

Pros: The location is 10 minutes walking from the city centre of Haarlem, the hotel is well designed and staff are helpful. There's no kettle in the room but you can get coffee and tea from the reception during breakfast hours even if you don't have breakfast included. The beds are probably the comfiest I ever encountered in my life.

Cons: We were there around new year's and room service was apparently understaffed. In our 4 nights of accommodation the room wasn't serviced, one day they came and we were still in the room so we asked them to come later but they never did. Cleanliness of the floors could have been better as well

Pros: Perfect location, walking distance to the city center, beautiful view from my room and comfortable.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Was a last minute change of hotel due to our other one not being suitable to stay in was easy to book and had our room ready when we arrived over an hour early, room was clean and exactly what we needed no problems at just wish we had been able to stay longer

Pros: We really liked our stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and varied, so I recommend book with breakfast) Everything was really good and I recommend this hotel))

Pros: The staff were excellent with great service, advice for things to see, and being able to rent a bike to me for the day was much appreciated also
