Pros: Hotel is a beautiful and historic building and rooms and beds are very high quality and comfortable

Alternative hotel to the big chains, great location and vibe.

Pros: Great location just a short way walk from the station. The room was large, underfloor heating and air con, modern bathroom with separate loo. shops, restaurants and cafes just outside but quiet street at night. Friendly & knowledgable young staff that made us feel quite at home. Will return x

Cons: A full length mirror would have been nice, just to check yourself out as you leave for the day.

A fantastic few days in a beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff.

Pros: We did not avail of breakfast but the dining room where it is served is stunning. The hotel's location is perfect - just a very short walk to the main square where there are multiple food and shopping options.

Cons: A cosy bar area for a drink although there are multiple options nearby

Fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel with lovely staff.

Pros: Location was excellent, very near Haarlem market square. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful, spacious and the building is amazing.

Cons: Can’t be helped but the steep stairs were a challenge at times! Couldn’t work out how to use the lights and heating properly.

Fabulous historic building, great location and lovely staff.

Pros: We loved MAF Hotel, beautiful building, we stayed there for three nights in December. We stayed in a comfy plus room which was large, there was a sofa and plenty of space to move around. The bed was huge and super comfy. Location was excellent, short walk to the Grote Markt where there were loads of places to eat and drink and lots to see and do too.

Interesting, well presented hotel close to the centre of Haarlem

Pros: In new ownership that is developing well. An interesting old building, with good facilities, in the centre of Haarlem within an easy walk of all attractions and amenities. Plenty of choices of restaurants for dinner (rijsttafel recommended) and a good breakfast was provided at the hotel. Parked the car in Parkeergarage Raaks, Zijlvest 452011 VB Haarlem - a multi-storey car park within a short walk of the hotel.
