Pros: The hotel was located close to the tram and the restaurant in the hotel had an amazing team and chef. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Cons: We loved the rooms but the heater was not working well.

Lovely hotel but glass bathroom door with auto light meant interrupted sleep every night

Pros: Modern hotel with urban industrial design. Had a lovely lunch in the hotel and enjoyed a cocktail in the rooftop bar. Staff were professional and friendly. 20min tram ride to central station on line no 26 was easy to use.

Cons: Major design flaw with our bedroom- bathroom had a sliding glass door which was 1ft from the head of the bed which was noisy to open and close as it rattled on its track. The light to the bathroom came on automatically when you entered and stayed on for 20mins when we you the bathroom. So if using the bathroom during the night both room occupants are woken up and it was difficult to get back to sleep until the light switched itself off.

Pros: We liked that the reception area, restaurant and the rooms were modern and stylish. The coffee in the room was lavanza which was a nice touch and we had a lovely view of the harbour and if the weather was good the outside area for drinks would have been nice.

Cons: The location. It’s a very industrial area with not much you can walk out too which was a pain. It wasn’t easy to get to central Amsterdam from the hotel as you would think because it’s not that many KM but the trams didn’t run throughout the night so we had to relay on taxis which fluctuated in price. When they came in for room service they just emptied the bin, didn’t change our towels when one had an old mascara mark on them (I don’t wear mascara because I have individual lashes) the towel was clean but it just wasn’t nice that it had an old stain and then when house keeping came they still didn’t check and take that one away and our refreshment’s that we’re supposed to be topped up weren’t.
