Great spot, the best staff!

Pros: Amazing location, fantastic staff (very friendly, helpful and made us feel at ease when visiting the country for the first time) AND they noticed it was my birthday (which we didn’t tell them) and decorated the bed and left a cute card with heartfelt messages inside from staff members which was very touching and appreciated! The cleaners did a great job daily, inside was peaceful especially considering the location was right in the heart of Amsterdam, but the staff in particular made the stay better and the few minor issues (detailed in the “not liked” section) became not as important.

Cons: Not enough space in room for dressing table but even a chair with a small shelf (on the wall in front) just slight my above it with a mirror on the wall would’ve been super helpful to avoid having to stand and use the bathroom mirror (which isn’t always easy when applying certain makeup or doing your hair, if you like to rest your arm on something). Didn’t think two twin beds rather than one double would be an issue, but they were far too light (no idea what they’re made from) so if either of us turned over even slightly in the night, the bed one of us was on would move slightly so they not only needed pushing together every time, but we also felt the risk of falling through the middle if we rolled over in the night (we’re not particularly big or overweight) but never experienced these type of “fly-away” beds. One thing that would’ve made the stay better was to have a few more channel options on the television because, despite staying out most of the days and nights, there were a few times when we came back to the room to rest/relax and there wasn’t much decent choice of channels (only one good one and if nothing good was in that at the time, then nothing). *These paragraphs were only to include detail to explain properly and not an indication of our annoyance. We actually loved our stay, the staff and the area and were grateful for the experience!

Lovely hotel in a great location

Pros: Super friendly staff. Great location. Clean and comfortable room with original decor. Don't be fooled by the somewhat odd-looking entrance. It's a lovely, quirky hotel.

Cons: I was taken aback a bit by the room walls and window covered in layered fabric at first (representing a flamenco-type skirt), but they grew on me! It was very cosy.

Penthouse apartment

Pros: Location was awesome, as was the quirky decor, and the balcony withthe amazing view.

Cons: The stairs up to our room were a bit awkward with our luggage. ( we were in the very top room) toilet was too close to the wall, sp a bit cramped.

This was our second stay and will be back in the summer love the rooms and location

Pros: Brilliant location Brilliant staff room was very comfy

Good hotel

Pros: Room was clean the staff was lovely would stay again

Top hotel for little money

Pros: Clean spacious room, nice bathroom. Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful

Cons: Rain shower

Pros: Great location Great and friendly staff they will help you with any information you would like Nice and comfortable rooms

Cons: They onky thing I didn't like was that the drainage in the shower was not good

Pros: I liked that the hotel had an elevator.All the people in the reception were nice and helpful.I also liked that it had a free coffee and tea station.

Cons: The rooms were very small.

I would stay here again, location is ideal and the lady on reception made us feel very welcome. Bonus points for the vin

Pros: Great location, cool decor and very comfortable beds. Both reception and cleaning staff were friendly. Complimentary coffee in the morning and regular cleaning. Luggage storage if required before or after check in / out.

Cons: Occasional banging noises within the building but I assume this was due to the elevator going up and down the shaft. It didn’t affect our sleep.
