Jupiter Hotel

Perfect location and excellent facilities. Would recommend.

Pros: Lovely quiet location. Friendly staff. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Lovely balcony. Extras such as slippers, bathrobes and bottles of water. Very comfortable bed and mattress. Spotlessly clean.

Cons: We had been warned that the lift was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor but not that the 3 flights of spiral stairs were really narrow and steep or that they would be working on the lift right next to our room at 8.45am one day and 7.45 the next. When we complained we were offered a room on the 1st floor instead but we had paid extra for the kitchen/fridge so decided not to move. However this did not mar our stay and everyone was really apologetic . We were allowed to check out at our leisure on the last day which was lovely.

Good location in Amsterdam

Pros: Excellent location for museums, canals. Good Italian Pizza restaurant nearby. Very clean- small single room but well appointed. Very helpful reception. Good WiFi.

Cons: Impossible to understand how the coffee machine works! Cash payment for room- bizarre.

Comfortable,clean & centrally located

Pros: Amazing stay at the Jupiter hotel. Clean comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, great facilities coffee machine, fresh bottled water every day. Staff super friendly. Location is great, close to tram stop and from there to anywhere. Also close enough to walk to some of Amsterdams famous attractions. Highly recommended.

Cons: Upon check-in, I was asked to provide a debit card with the name and surname used to pay for the room. Please be aware of this inconvenient detail. Smoking is prohibited in rooms with a balcony, even on the balcony.

Cons: the stairs! There's no elevator!

Perfect Location and design

Pros: I thought it was in perfect location, right by a lidl so you can get the essentials. Would recommened. Lovely room, brand new design and modern.

Cons: All in all i dont have a negative, the lift was a bit daunting at first but got used to it.

Trip to Amsterdam

Pros: The fascilities in the room were good. Quiet area. Didn't really hear the other guests. Easy to come and go as you pleased as a seperate entry. We couldn't get the tv to work at first and the toilet seat was very loose. However they were corrected the next day.

Cons: I use a walking stick so the steps in and out of the room were a little tricky. The steps inside the room also had gaps in them that caught my stick the first day. I ended up leaving the stick in the washroom and using the hand rail. A linen cage sits outside the room so have to shuffle past that. There is no mini fridge which would be a great help! Nothing to do with the hotel but be careful of the paving. I tripped and fell over a slab so now going home bruised!

Great location, great facilities

Pros: The room was very well sized as was the bathroom. The room had a smart TV with access to Netflix/Disney+ etc. The staff were lovely!

Cons: Beware of the small lift or very steep stairs! Otherwise we loved it.
